This has been the best and easiest vehicle purchase experience I’ve ever had. Technology was certainly a big factor this time, in comparison with years past. I found the vehicle I wanted on the Uptown experience I’ve ever had. Technology was certainly a big factor this time, in comparison with years past. I found the vehicle I wanted on the Uptown website after-hours, and used the AI chat feature to express my interest in it by copying/pasting the VIN. It confirmed the vehicle for me and said I would be contacted by a salesperson the next day. In the meantime, I used the same VIN with my preferred lender to get pre-approved so I had financing ready to go. However, the tech can’t do it alone as it needs people to make it all work. The Uptown team really shined when doing their parts to keep the process efficient and smooth. Miles Joslin texted me the next morning about 7 minutes before they opened (which I selected as my preferred contact method). About 15 minutes later I called him and he pulled up the vehicle on his computer. I said basically, “I’ve researched these about 6 weeks now, and know what I want. I have driven this brand before and don’t need a test drive. I’m already approved for financing. If you can get it done, I will take delivery today!” (I didn’t have a trade-in this time around since I already sold that vehicle, so I’m not sure how that issue would have been factored in.) Miles proved to be outstanding as my sales associate, and he handled everything well with fabulous customer service. He put the deal together, got the option I needed installed, gassed it up, and had it in my driveway by the time I finished working (from my home office). And I live on the opposite side of the Metroplex! Miles is truly a great car-buying quarterback! Jay Wilson was also excellent (and funny!) in his role as finance manager. He talked through the final details before Miles ran the ball down the field for the touchdown. I know that there's a huge team behind them both too, so I am commending them all when I say Uptown was awesome! More
