Immediately off the bat, felt extremely disrespected because we had a time set up with Miles (multiple texts and phone call) that he knew that I was coming to look at the exact car/model/trim level i kn because we had a time set up with Miles (multiple texts and phone call) that he knew that I was coming to look at the exact car/model/trim level i knew I wanted, I did not even want to browse. Told me to text him when I arrived. And I did. We walk in and he is with another family, he hands us off to a newer guy to show us the car and "talk numbers". It was a terrible experience. The newer salesperson didn't know some of the answers to my questions, it got confusing and so eventually we ended up at the desk with Miles. He did not make respectful eye contact, kept looking at my boyfriend who had actually no input or say into my final decision because I was the one purchasing the vehicle, at one point he start boasting about how he sells 35-40 cars off the lot a month (brought it up a few times actually), he quoted me the wrong number and asked me to sign a piece of scribbled on paper to go talk to his manager for a deal, I corrected him with the exact sales price to the dollar and he came back with "oh yeah you're right". mind you it was over $1,500 different price. At one point he took my ID I think to make a copy, instead of handing it back to me he tossed it across the desk to me. I did not feel respected, I did not feel like he was answering my questions honestly from the very beginning. He kept digging for information on my current vehicle that I was turning into CarMax, finally I gave him the info and he gave me false information about my trade in , trying to convince me to trade in with them instead. I was adamant about needing to go to the bank to finalize everything for my downpayment. He was just as adamant about saying I didn't need to put that much as a downpayment. I am 1000x times thankful I chose a different dealership, a different salesperson, and I got the same exact make/model and trim plus some extra packages for a better price. Will never, ever go back there again, nor would I ever recommend miles. He does seem like a perfect fit for someone who doesn't really know much about buying a car, he will take perfect advantage of the situation. More
