Russ purchase a Jeep Cherokee from us in the fall of 2017. Approximately 6 months later came back to the dealership with an issue of the roof rails for the luggage rack being loose and that he experience they were damaged during a car wash at another facility. Since the vehicle had been his for 6 months there was no way the time or origin of the damage could be determined. We checked our records and there was no note of damage during our service inspection, the auction inspection when we purchased the vehicle or the customers inspection at purchase. Park paid a slightly more than half of the repair of the vehicle in addition to supplying the parts required at cost. We felt that that was a reasonable settlement not knowing when the damage was done. The customer accepted Parks compensation and only after, chose to disparage us in public forum. I regret the customers feelings, but think Park acted appropriately.

Again, more lip service and now wordsmithing. pj (park jeep of Burnsville) stated in their response to my review above: "they were damaged during a car wash at another facility." This is a FALSE statement. I told pj that AFTER I discovered the damaged rack, a car wash blower lifted the already damaged luggage rack up and out of its slots and blew the plastic base plate off the car, and water began dripping in to the interior of the vehicle as well. This demonstrates how bad the damaged rail was. Again, another FALSE statement by pj: "park paid a slightly more than half of the repair of the vehicle in addition to supplying the parts required at cost." 1) The estimate on behalf of pj came to approximately $1100. Two independent and unbiased estimates on my own behalf came in at approximately $2400, both within $100 of each other. Mr. Davis gave no mind to these estimates and held to the lesser dollar amount. 2) pj DID NOT supply the parts. The auto body shop stated to me that in trying to keep my out-of-pocket costs down, they were able to procure a single rail elsewhere for $35 and that they (the auto body shop) would absorb this cost themselves, as they appreciated my business. What about the free oil changes Mr. Davis promised he would throw in? Will pj acknowledge that this promise went unkept? My only course of action in this now would be to take pj and Mr. Davis to small claims court. While this may force pj to incur some additional costs, it would also do the same to me. Either way, Mr. Davis has me over a barrel. Other reviews on this website show that this dealer's treatment of customers in this manner is a trend, and I would only hope people considering doing business at Park Chrysler Jeep of Burnsville might read this review and avoid the frustration and expense.
