Best place to buy a car I usually never write reviews but this time I felt like writing one. I have been to many dealers before going to Paramus and I can definitely say that I usually never write reviews but this time I felt like writing one. I have been to many dealers before going to Paramus and I can definitely say that this place is far better than any other's. Iggy made my purchase really easy and the price was not overly high. He didn't rush my purchase and was very patiently answering my questions. Great conversation and hassle free. I would strongly recommend this place if you are looking to buy a car. More

My parents and I made a visit to paramus Hyundai and was greeted by Iggy Baretto and I have to say from start to finish, Iggy provided 5 star service. Iggy was very informative, our deal was totally transparent and smooth with no surprises. Our overall experience was great and I would recommend anyone who visits paramus Hyundai to see Iggy Barretto as he is definitely a stand out amongst any sales rep at that dealership. Thank you Iggy for getting my parents the best deal they could find and providing us with a top tier sales experience. P.S I'm coming back for that genesis! Sincerely The Nesbitt's More

John Hyland, General Manager of the Eastern Region of Hyundai got Christopher Huysman from Hyundai in touch with us when we were having issues with our recently purchased Hyundai Sonata. We may have tapped our front car bumper gently against a parking stop at our condo and the front car bumper fell apart. It seemed to me it was made crappy. Chris made an appointment for Paramus Hyundai to see our car bumper. We moved our schedule around to come to Paramus Hyundai. We waited a while and before we even had a chance to say practically anything, a Khariana Cruz at the service desk told us the bumper damage was not covered by warranty. It was very antagonistic trying to speak with her and we spoke with her for no more than a minute or two. She didn't even seem to care that we were sent there by Hyundai corporate. As we were leaving Hyundai, someone from Paramus Hyundai called us and asked if we are coming for our appointment. I told her we were there and about my experience with Khariana Cruz. I told her I was going to tell Hyundai corporate about it. She said she'd get back to us which she did not. Things were very disorganized at Paramus Hyundai based on our experience there. This was the 2nd bad experience for us at Paramus Hyundai. When we started looking at Hyundais and went in for a test drive, we were just told to look outside. We emailed Paramus Hyundai and Hyundai Hdqtrs about our issue. I saw on Yelp under Paramus Hyundai. Hyundai Nightmare On 02-19-2018 If I can give this dealer a zero star rating I would. What an unpleasant sales manager James is. Wow... never have I ever spoken to som On 02-19-2018 If I can give this dealer a zero star rating I would. What an unpleasant sales manager James is. Wow... never have I ever spoken to someone with these poor people skills. How can a sales person... sorry sales manager say he rather auction the car than to sell to a client that is going to give him a headache?!! Really?! He proceeds to tell me yes I would never hear back from the people at the auction let alone negotiate the price?! What?! I’m thinking to myself I thought you are in the business to sell. So I proceed to speak to this man I don’t know why and explained to him that I had spoken to Joseph Aziz on the vehicle on Friday 2/16/2018 with another sales person (Regi) who promised that if I came back they would give me the negotiated price and they would fix the back up camera. He said “it doesn’t matter what they said it’s what I say I’m the manager of the store.” Wow what an ego driven person. I said I guess you aren’t in the business to sell with your attitude. Then he was kind of surprised I called him out on his attitude and he said I don’t have an attitude no attitude here. He must have mistaken me for his wife or even his daughter. This guy James was soo unprofessional that I have no words to describe him. Worst experience ever. I would never recommend this dealer even if it was to my worst enemy. On 02-20-2018 I received a call from the Sales Manager Regi who was ver apologetic in his voicemail to me and invited me to come back to the dealer an the that he would make a deal with me. I called him back we spoke on the phone again very apologetic for the way James spoke to me on 02-19-2018. He proceeded to say he would fix the camera and give me the negotiated deal from 02-16-2018 $14,500 and fix the camera. I made arrangements to go to the dealer right after work with my family. When I get there I'm welcomed by Joseph Aziz... Regi is here he wants to handle your deal personally. Ok sure. Regi comes over with paperwork from for the Camera that isn't working on the car and states the camera is $94 on Ebay you pay it and will do the labor. Oh on the phone you stated you would take care of the camera and give us the deal on the car all of the sudden everything changed. We talk again Regi's attitude turns just like James attitude no people skills. You can take it or leave type of attitude gets up and leaves. At this point Joseph A. is still at his desk poor guy was so embarrassed by his managers actions he gets up and asked if they can split the cost of the camera comes back and hes like no sorry we can't. At this point I'm swallowing my pride and say ok lets make the deal whatever $100 isn't going to make me or break me. I’m sure the dealer need the $100 more than I do...Joseph proceeds to take the credit application arranges to get gas on the car get the car washed etc. As I look to the side there is a glass window where you can basically see behind you I see Regi is making some hand signals to Joseph. Joseph gets up walks over to his managers comes back with a copy of my review with Google on 2-19-2018. He states one more thing the managers said they will only sell you the car if you take down your review on Google. At this point I'm fed up... I got up and said never mind the deal. It was my mistake for coming back in here and left. I cant even say typical car dealer because this isn't a dealer to me this place is a playground where everyone is the boss and no one knows what they are doing. There’s no one that’s honest enough to take the lead here. These people aren't in the business to serve their community horrible experience. I may look young but I've been buying cars since 2004 at car dealerships like Honda Acura Nissan and I've never encountered people that don't want to sell a car. I also work in the service and sales industry and I think if I would treat my customers this way I would be fired. If you want to be treated like your money isn't worth anything this is the place to go. I ended up going to Honda directly for my buying needs and what a difference the salesman are happy smiling working respectful. They explain things thoroughly. Managers are pleasant they offer you coffee water game arcade for the kids. I walked in to Honda 10 minutes before closing and these guys went above and beyond for me. They even stayed open til 11 just so I can walk out with my new car. More
Everything up to the sale was great! I walked into Hyundai of Paramus on February 10, 2018 with the thought of looking at the Santa Fe Sport. A manager introduced me to my sales person a I walked into Hyundai of Paramus on February 10, 2018 with the thought of looking at the Santa Fe Sport. A manager introduced me to my sales person almost immediately. He did a great job of finding a truck that I would like, test drove three vehicles and worked on pricing for each very professionally. It was after agreeing to a 2015 Certified Santa Fe Sport Ultimate and getting ready to sign papers, that's where things went straight downhill. First I get told my agreed upon price was not what finance would agree to. I have a credit rating of 840 and never missing a payment on anything but I couldn't get the deal they had hoped for. Cant say that's the dealerships fault. I should have said, "No thank you" at that point. After being handed the keys, my great salesman basically said good-bye and aside from asking if there was gas in the truck, he had no intention of showing me the ins and outs of my truck. I had to ask him to do so. As we were talking I asked about the remote start feature and was informed that it is through Blue Link which will be about $100 per year. When I looked that up later that night, the cost is nearly double that!! I was also told that the blue link couldn't be set up until tomorrow because it was after 5pm. When I got the truck home, I noticed there was a used latex glove, candy wrapper and used paper towels in the center consol. I did get a call the next day but just a courtesy call at 230pm. No mention of the blue link activation. It was then that I really started feeling like I was now an afterthought. After taking the truck on an out of state trip, I realized a number of things I didn't get a feel for during my test drive. My phone kept getting dropped from connection, (yes I have been in this area to know it wasn't a service issue) the back up camera comes on and the rear park assist grid sometimes doesn't come on for another 4-5 seconds, to which the screen blacks out. This is lots of fun as you approach an object behind you. The ride itself wasn't nearly as comfortable as I had hoped. When you raise the seat to not feel like you are in a hole, you now have no way of resting your arm on the door as its too low. The last straw was when I drove the truck this morning in the rain with the wipers on, I got pulled over for not having my lights on. A 2015 vehicle doesn't have technology to have lights on when the wipers are on? Maybe its just me, but I thought that was normal? Now I know its not the dealerships fault that I put pen to paper and walked away with the vehicle and then find that I am not happy with the vehicle but when I did bring this to my salesman's attention, his response, "I am sorry you feel this way." This is my first Hyundai purchase and the experience after the signing has been anything but stellar. I even brought my brother in to lease a vehicle. At this point, I'm looking to just sell my truck and walk away from Hyundai. Sad because I have heard so many good things about this manufacturer. More

Being I live about 70 miles from this dealer I naturally called first to make sure car was still available. I spoke with a Marilyn who checked the stock number and assured me car was available. I drove the 70 miles there to see vehicle. When I arrived I was approached by salesperson Eric Rajkovich . I told him why I was there after a few minutes he came back to me and told me that a customer had driven the car 4 days prior and was awaiting their mechanic's ok before they decided to buy or not.(Like a dealer would tie up a car 4 days waiting for a mechanic's ok) Anyway, Eric then said this alleged customer had gotten the all clear from their mechanic and took the car that very same day I was told it was 100% available. No reference was ever made to me by Marilyn that there was a possible buyer. Eric Rajkovich, being the outstanding salesman that he is, tried to sell me "another" Genesis instead. Seeing this scam for what it was I told him I wasn't interested, so naturally he brought out used car manager(Phil) to speak with me. (Level 3 of the scam) He assured me that he could get me any Genesis I wanted for same price and all I had to do was leave a $500.00 deposit and he'd call me when car was in. Well after checking my driver license and realizing that I wasn't born yesterday, I declined this offer and left. Next day, I looked at their website and the "sold" car was still on it. I called dealer and spoke with Showanda. She told me that the "sold" car was available, BUT it was on a test drive as we spoke. (WOW, I better run in and buy this before it's sold(again) I then spoke with Eric Rajkovich, told him exactly what I thought of their shady practices when he actually said to me, "these girls are paid $20.00 for every person they get to come in" Basically admitting they will lie to get you in AND get an incentive to do so. My advice, find a REPUTABLE dealer and stay away from Route 4 East Paramus Hyundai. More
