Soon after I posted this, Vinnie did contact me. We have tentatively scheduled to get together on Friday. I may have to move that to Monday because my wife is coming back home tomorrow after surgery. But I still want to try to get in tomorrow if at all possible. Need to play by ear, but I will call in the morning to let you know which will work best. As I had mentioned, Scott had quoted me a price after he consulted with sales management, according to him. We went over the features I was interested in, essentially a fully loaded (tech package, sunroof etc) 2013 3.8 Genesis, Platinum Metallic exterior, Cashmere interior. He said he did not know if that particular car would be delivered to your dealership, but if not, you would locate one elsewhere, and I would get the car I wanted. That's what happened when I purchased my 2011 4.6 Genesis in Nov. of 2010. He also said that he expected the cars to be delivered in about two weeks, and would be very surprised if they weren't in within 3. That was about 5-6 weeks ago. The price quoted: $36,000. I asked what the trade-in value of my car would be (it has 30,000-31,000 miles), and while he didn't quote a specific price, he did say, "somewhere in $20s." So that's where we are. Looking forward to closing a deal on the new car with these features as soon as possible. Thanks for the response. Best, Colin Ungaro
