The headline here is - we would NEVER recommend this dealership to anyone due to a lack of integrity and horrible customer service post-purchase. The summary of our story is as follows - we bought a dealership to anyone due to a lack of integrity and horrible customer service post-purchase. The summary of our story is as follows - we bought a used Hyundai Santa Fe from this dealership in late January - it's now about to turn April and we still don't have the license plate from the dealer, despite numerous promises and multiple calls/emails, so our car is effectively not usable. The thing that's most outrageous about this dealership is that they have literally lied to us on multiple occasions and made promises that they clearly have no intention of keeping (e.g., they promised to send us in an email stating that they would cover any tickets we received due to having an expired temporary plate - 2 weeks later and despite our calls back, no email has arrived). What makes this whole situation even more absurd is that the dealer A) promised to take care of registering the car and sending us the plates, only B) they didn't have the required paperwork necessary to complete that registration, and C) never bothered to tell us despite multiple calls on our part after our temporary plate expired and no permanent plates arrived. We weren't even aware that there was an issue until my wife literally had to threaten them with a letter from our lawyer if they didn't put a manager on the phone - at which point it was "discovered" 6 weeks after we bought the car, that they had never submitted the paperwork because they didn't have it. This led to a series of promises ("we will Fedex you the plates in 2 days"..."we will send you an email promising to pay for any tickets you receive"...etc...all of which have been LIES. We remain without our plates, as this saga goes into month 3 and this dealer continues to do nothing. It seems apparent that the only thing they respond to is the threat of legal action, which it looks like is where this is headed in order for us to have a car we can legally drive. I'd like to write more about the quality of the car, but frankly, I don't know because we can't drive the xxxx thing. Long story short - avoid this dealership at all cost, because if anything goes wrong, you will be left high and dry. More
I want to start by saying stay away from this sales person. Not only was he rude but he acted as if I didn't matter because I was a women. He talked down on me on 2 different times. Unfortunately, I bought Hyundai Sonata 2013 from this dealership. My troubles started the moment I sighed the contract. Brian Gombocz, sales person, has failed to deliver all equipment that I paid for dealership. My troubles started the moment I sighed the contract. I talked with him many times and all I got was promises, I never saw my additional equipment and it is been 6 months since I bought the car. Josue Alvarado, financial person, and him manager Steven Amato have keeping my refund for additional warranties that I cancelled two weeks after I bought the car. It is impossible for me to get my money back. I left many voice mails and sent many emails, but it is impossible to contact them. I am going to launch a lawsuit against this dealer if I do not get my refund soon. This is total nightmare. After this experience I will never buy Hyundai again. Total disappointment. Stay away from these guys. More
These guys were great. Treated me like family. I went to two other Hyundai's and the experience were nothing like Hyundai of Paramus. Went to Hyundai Paramus to change oil. They wasn't able to find my appointment which I've made a day before. The result is 2.5 hours in waiting for regular oil change. Even payment processing was slug able to find my appointment which I've made a day before. The result is 2.5 hours in waiting for regular oil change. Even payment processing was sluggish (5 mins). The price is another story. I was told that it's gonna cost $35. The invoice was for $78 to change regular oil at Hyundai Santa Fe. They included $14 for 'fluid disposal'. Why do I have to care about that stuff? The final price tag after discounts was $45. I'd better change oil in a small workshop across the street. The staff was very friendly though. More

I have purchased a few vehicles before but NEVER had such FUN and simply a JOYFUL experience as this one was. All of the dealerships staff was incredibly helpful, professional and friendly, I felt like I was one of the family. I traveled an extra 45 minutes to pay more than 2 initial quotes I had previously received. I shopped the Genesis against the Mercedes E class and not only did I get way more for my money, but the profession quotes I had previously received. I can honestly say they're doing the right thing at Paramus Hyundai and I can see why they sell so many cars and have such a satisfactory rating. My cousin Also lives in Nanuet and recommended this dealer and I'm glad I took his advice. The two Mercedes dealers should take notes from Eric and his team. Ill definitely be buying my wife's car there also come April! Great job guys and thanks again! More
