Returning customer for a reason, Quick Easy and Friendly. Tried comparing pricing and customer service anywhere locally they will beat it. There are many reasons to complaint about this service, but I just want to point out some of them: First, the service department couldn't find my extended warranty information in the system even though th but I just want to point out some of them: First, the service department couldn't find my extended warranty information in the system even though the finance department confirmed that it is there, and both services and sales (finances) operates in the same building. Alex Vargas, one of the customer service associate, told me that it is not his job to confirm that information. So i asked myself why two different department that operate in the same building they don't exchange information each other. the only reason what i went to Paramus Hyundai service is because i bought my car in that location and I thought that any information would flow faster. Second reason, my car was making noises when I started the car. This happened from the beginning, but it wasn't too loud after one week they fixed my car for another problem the first time; they couldn't find any problem about it so they didn't do anything. However i had been receiving mails from them about 3K service schedule approaching. Thus, i decided to fix both problem the same day. I called to notify them that I wanted them to fix that problem too. The day of my appointment arrived, I drop off my car and told Alex Vargas that this is the second time that i come her to fix this problem. he said that the first time they didn't see anything wrong with that. So I had to wait until my car cool down to prove him that I was saying the truth. I could prove it and then I left. After 6 hours, i could pick up my car but Alex Vargas didn't give me any receipt for my car reparation and the 3K service. He told that he couldn't finish the documentation because he needed some sales approvals, so next business day he would send them to me. Well those papers never arrived. I called them repetitively to ask for this documentation but neither Alex Vargas or the manager, Mike Scala called me back. I don't know if they lied to me about the 3K service but it is really weird that a certified service company works without receipts. Finally, I have a problem with a brake light in the left side that will not turn off sometimes Hyundai of Paramus service has checked two times with out a successful result. They affirm that it is related with the remote start that I got from them. However, since they hired a third party to install it they cannot fix it. Anyway I do not mind if they did it by themselves or hired another company. I just want my car work properly. At this moment I still has this problem and they do not call me to tell when they are going to fix it. It was the worse experience ever. More
My current lease was ending shortly. I stopped in to ask a simple question regarding same and they let me leave with a hybrid Sonata limited for less than I was paying for an Elantra limited. Very friendly, a simple question regarding same and they let me leave with a hybrid Sonata limited for less than I was paying for an Elantra limited. Very friendly, eager and helpful. Just a great deal. They let me out of my old lease a little early. Very pleased, thanx guys! More
This dealership is close to me, which is the only reason why I would even consider going there. While I do like the Hyundai brand, this particular dealership in my opinion tries to take advantage of unsuspe why I would even consider going there. While I do like the Hyundai brand, this particular dealership in my opinion tries to take advantage of unsuspecting people when it comes to sales. When I was looking to lease a Sonata in 2011, the pricing was so bad I took my business elsewhere and found a dealership miles away that was much more reasonable. Three years later and my lease is ending, so I figured I would try the dealership again, hoping it would be different. It wasn't. Lots of shady, jackal-like individuals in the showroom, which should have been our first warning sign to leave. After speaking with Brian and Vinnie, who were nice enough in the beginning, and providing our list of requirements, we got a selling price that was relatively close to our price quote on TrueCar (which Hyundai of Paramus does NOT participate in). However, that was buried in a monthly price that was over $100 a month more than it should be (determined by my lease calculations). When I asked why our numbers were different, I was told the destination and other fees were not included in my number. Even so, it wouldn't add up to an additional $3600 during the term of the lease. We left the dealership without closing the deal. The next day I called a TrueCar dealership and gave them the exact same requirements. A few minutes later they came back with a monthly number that was $100 less than the price I got at Hyundai of Paramus, further confirming my suspicions. Needless to say we did not proceed with purchasing from Hyundai of Paramus. We got a call from Brian the following day, which was nice enough. But after explaining our decision, he actually seemed quite surprised we balked. Then he tried to say the higher price was due to our credit score, but I informed him that the price was provided to us even before they ran a credit check. Apparently they are getting business from people, otherwise they wouldn't be in business. But from my experience, it seems like they are getting people who just don't know any better. It really is a shame, because they could have had my business twice already. More
This is our 3 Hyundai and we couldn't be any happier with our purchases. Brian was our first salesman and we have recommended him to many friends and family. Also Eric was a great help to us and we will with our purchases. Brian was our first salesman and we have recommended him to many friends and family. So we've got a call from Hyundai to visit and lease a new car. We leased a Genesis 2011, in July 2012 and as our lease is close to expire we would like to see what they had to offer us. Disregarding the new car. We leased a Genesis 2011, in July 2012 and as our lease is close to expire we would like to see what they had to offer us. Disregarding the very bad experience we had on our first time leasing - we were for SIX HOURS on the dealer being persuaded by the manager (a tall bald guy, I cant remember his name). He elevated his tone in a way I had to ask him to please watch his mouth and respect me. We just kept the deal as our old car was putting my fiancee's and my life in risk. That car worth 1.500$ and they trade it for 300!! Yeah, plus we payed 2.500$ down payment to have our genesis monthy payment for 300. We made our fisrt lease. And first very bad deal! At least we were happy with the little well-designed car.. Today, we spent over an hour there to hear the deal they had: 499,00 for a basic model Santa Fe (lease) It is like a joke, right? We let them know we would like to keep the same price range. They said they would may be able to offer a simple Elantra for that price... !!!!!!!!!! So arrogant, the manger came (as on the fist time), to try persuade us and make us swallow another stupid deal. Like they go to a back room talk and come to you with deals as if you were a complete idiot. Then you laugh and they start "playing the negotiation" So dirty. So low. Jefferson said: "Well ya you know, this month is not good for lease....". so why do you even call us and waisted our time going there?? We simply stood up and left. they would make us seat there and listen, if it was legal to force us to stay... I let them know I would be rating them negatively. As the matter of fact, after the first lease they were BEGGING US to give them a good review. They called me several times and I was feeling unconfortable to say: im not rating you positively. Maybe now they will try to reach me to beg to take this review off. All they want is to buy reputation, right? The lack of respect, educartion and excess of arrogance made us disgusted to step in that place ever again. Further more, I'm twitting about it and spreading as word of mouth. My journalist friend will write a note on the local news. I have no idea what this may cause, I never wrote any negative review in my life, but I want to save people's time and stress. Living 6 years in this country we have never been so disrespected. Right after that we stopped at Mercedes and had an amazing experience - and are very inclined to lease a car with them - funny or not, more affordable for than Santa Fe. Who woudnt want a Mercedes? I hope these people learn how to do business right and treat people as humans. Otherwise I hope the business crashes, as this is what they deserve now. Good-bye Hundai. Until NEVER MORE. More
I bought a new car here over a year ago. I bought some of the extras with the financing. Later, I cancelled a couple of the extras (key replacement, and road hazard coverage). That was in January of 201 of the extras with the financing. Later, I cancelled a couple of the extras (key replacement, and road hazard coverage). That was in January of 2013. We are now nearing the end of January 2014. I have made countless visits in person, and calls by phone and some emails. So far, I have yet to see a dime of this refund. They keep making it sound like I will get it any day. They kept asking me for my phone number promising to call me back. Almost never did follow up with me. Very disappointed with this dealership! I have bought quite a few cars in my life, and have never had such a negative experience as this! Worst experience ever! Josue Alvarado, Steve Amato, and even the GM Rocco... seems none of them care about this at all! More
My wife and I walked in expecting to look, and drove out with a car that I am very happy with. Our salesperson Henry was very helpful and knowledgable and most importantly...patient. He answered all our que with a car that I am very happy with. Our salesperson Henry was very helpful and knowledgable and most importantly...patient. He answered all our questions, and took his time with us. I'm not sure if I got the best price in the area on the car, but that also is part of the experience. The dealer has contacted us to set up a 3 month service appointment already, so I will have a far better perspective on my purchase after that. I would recommend Henry as well as Paramus Hyundai again. More
SHAME ON YOU!!!!! 25 month old car needing $838.00 worth of repairs on brakes and blaming "How the person drives the car!" DISGUSTING!!!! Putting young women in danger because they have to wait two hours of repairs on brakes and blaming "How the person drives the car!" DISGUSTING!!!! Putting young women in danger because they have to wait two hours for the tow truck the both time she had to use the "assurance". Morally Wrong! This company takes advantage of native buyers and sells them a load of garbage, like the quality of their cars! More
