Went for service/ new car Took my 2016 Volvo XC90 (which was purchased @ Paramount) for recall. Recall was going to take longer than was quoted. Husband and I ended up walking around wasting time. Met Joey the salesman very nice guy, ran into Ernie (salesman who helped with last purchase). Again very nice man. Joey allowed us to ask any questions about the Volkswagen Atlas (there were many) he is extremely knowledgeable and helpful. In the meantime, we find out there were multiple recalls on our Volvo and we need a loaner vehicle. My husband and I decided to take the Atlas for a test drive. Again Joey went out of his way to find the color/model we were intrested in. We had some concerns bout the 3rd row seat and how much room we would have. Ernie @ 6'5 came out and got into the vehicle to show how much room. Team work, and enthusiasm. I love that. While test driving the Atlas I asked Joey what brought him to Paramount. You just knew he loved being there and enjoyed what he does. He actually said this is a good fit for me. My husband and I told him what we wanted for us to trade. Joey made it happen. He is a young man with drive, and enthusiasm for what he does. Joey made the process easy and simple. Will reccomend Joey to anyone. More

Sir, this experience was nothing short of outstanding. I grew up in the Detroit area and over the years I have purchased many vehicles from automobile dealers in that area. I have also purchased a vehicle in North Carolina and in Texas. I’ve experienced the full range of sales personalities during those purchases; some great, some adequate, and some terrible. Without hesitation I can say that the level of knowledge, professionalism, courtesy and genuine care that was demonstrated by all the individuals who helped me at Paramount was remarkable. I had been searching for a used VW Jetta for my 16 year old daughter for several weeks. Then during the early morning of August 20 I found a Jetta online at your Hickory location that was equipped with the options I had been looking for. I called the dealership and spoke with Fox Guenter. Fox answered all my questions and he invited me to come see the vehicle in person. I told Fox that I would try to break away from work to visit the dealer during the afternoon. Fox reached out to me around lunchtime to ask if I was still planning to come by the dealer and I told him I would be in the area within the hour. I arrived at Paramount and Fox was waiting for me with the 2015 Jetta parked right outside the showroom office. The vehicle had been cleaned and detailed. Fox was very professional and attentive. He was not pushy or overbearing and did not try to finish my sentences in an attempt to steer my thought process. He genuinely seemed to care about my specific questions and providing me with the best information possible. He answered all my questions, and after answering one particular question he reached out to Joey Lipford to provide some additional information. Joey’s approach and demeanor was equally as professional and genuine as that of Fox, and he added more technical specificity to the discussion based on his in-depth knowledge of Volkswagen vehicles. Together Fox and Joey provided me with all the answers and details to really help me with my decision on whether to purchase the 2015 Jetta. My wife and I had established a ceiling for purchasing a used car for our daughter and the selling price of the 2015 Jetta was much higher than that ceiling. After speaking with Fox about the selling price I then met with the Sales Manager Josh Williams to discuss options for the final selling price of the vehicle. Josh was also very professional and genuine during our conversation, and even though he knew I would be purchasing the vehicle for my daughter, and that he may have had some leverage knowing this, he did not try to steer the discussion to try to convince me solely on the merit of purchasing a vehicle for my daughter; rather, he objectively discussed the advantages of owning the Jetta and the price points of that used vehicle in the marketplace. I very much respected his approach and after agreeing on the final selling price I felt it was a win-win scenario for myself and for Paramount. Finally I met with Parker Grove to review the vehicle financing and warranty options. He took the time to discuss the various financing options and the specific warranty coverage scenarios, and he offered his perspective and consideration for each of the warranty scenarios based on putting himself in my shoes with having a daughter who was just beginning her driving experience. Parker’s engagement and demeanor was equally as professional and genuine as that of Fox, Joey and Josh. At the end of our discussion I decided not to purchase a warranty plan. My decision to not purchase the warranty did not reflect on Parker in anyway; after speaking with my wife we simply made a calculated decision to bet on Volkswagen’s reputation for this particular powerplant in the Jetta. In closing sir I would like to say that I was deeply impressed and greatly satisfied with the level of professional talent that I encountered at your Hickory, NC location. That changed given my recent experience at Paramount VW with sales representative Patrick Lewis and his team was nothing short of 5-star. I have dealt with many dealers in many states over the years, but my recent purchase from Paramount VW was the best experience I have ever had. When I arrived for my appointment to test drive a Golf R the sales representative Patrick Lewis had the vehicle ready and waiting out front when I arrived on the lot. Patrick was very knowledgeable, he did not hassle me with a high pressure sales pitch, and he simply answered all my questions. I live in Boone, I had no intentions of making the purchase the day of the test drive and was actually headed to a doctor's appointment following my appointment at Paramount VW... Given my interaction with Patrick Lewis and how much I liked the vehicle, I explained that I had a doctor's appointment in two hours and would like to get a price on the vehicle I test drove and the trade in price on my current vehicle. They did not play games and gave me a very fair price on both my trade-in and the CPO Golf R, and I expected to circle back the next day or over the weekend to handle the purchase... Patrick Lewis, the finance manager Parker Grove, and the rest of their team dropped everything, went above and beyond the call of duty. They were able to not only complete all the paperwork, but had me back on the road in my new CPO Golf R so fast that I made it to my next appointment early. I didn't think it was possible. Update: A few days after I purchased the car I noticed part of the tire repair kit was missing from the trunk. They shipped the missing tire inflation canister to my home at no charge. The Paramount VW of Hickory Team are... how should I put this... THEY ROCK!!! More
