Was just planning on test driving a vehicle and ended up loving it and purchasing. My sales rep was Noah from Hyundai but he was still very nice and personable. Used and abused I visited Paramount Volvo on Saturday evening after seeing a car online. I set up a time and as I am getting ready to leave they explain the car I was I visited Paramount Volvo on Saturday evening after seeing a car online. I set up a time and as I am getting ready to leave they explain the car I was looking at had in fact been sold, but I traveled there anyway arriving around 445pm. I met with Arturo who was very nice and explained the car had been sold,but I looked at another car, which wasn’t AWD but same style. We also found an XC90 I wanted to test drive. I fell in love with the XC90. My husband and I went in to speak to Arturo about the vehicle. After about 15-20 minutes he comes back to tell us, they did not have any information on the car. It was inventoried as an XC60, VIN wasn’t coming up etc...this is when Jeff, the sales manger, comes into the story. They offer the vehicle at a much higher price than we found listed at other sites for comparable vehicles. He explained he really didn’t have a clear idea of numbers and they would call me and let me know what he could find. Arturo called me on Monday to clarify if I still wanted the car and I affirmed I did. He said Jeff had been in a meeting but he would check with him as soon as he came out. I didn’t hear anything else on Monday. Today, Tuesday, I emailed Arturo to find out information on the XC90. He called back and left his cell number which I passed along to my husband since I was working. I was quite disappointed when he texted me back stating he was told they sold the car to someone buying with cash! The car had not even been listed on their website until today! I feel someone is not being honest and upfront with us. I have previously had a bad experience with Paramount Ford. It is safe say I will not be rushing back to any Paramount dealerships to purchase a car! More
