Scott was such a pleasure to work with and made an otherwise very stressful situation very easy and pleasant. Scott treated me with the up most respect and as a woman that is saying a lot. I had totaled my car and was in need of another and had not ever purchased a car on my own before. I had been looking for more than two weeks and had come in contact with several different salesmen and being a woman I was not always taken seriously and at times was made to feel as though I didn't have a clue about what I was looking for or doing. That was NOT the case when I began talking with Scott. Scott listened to what I wanted in a car and what I was looking for and understood my budget. Never once did he pressure me into going over what I had stated I could afford. He also never made me feel as though my budget was ridiculous or impossible(as others had made me begin to feel). He treated me with respect and did not make me feel like I didn't know anything but made me feel as though I was important and that he would do everything in his power to make it happen for me. And that is exactly what he did! Not only that but I live almost two hours away and he saved me a trip and had my car delivered. To go from never buying a car on my own to buying a car sight unseen was for me both crazy and amazing. I would definitely buy another car from Scott McKinney and Paramount Ford and have told everyone I know about my experience! I have to say it was a wonderful experience and I know Scott went out of his way on his end to make it the great experience it was for me. THANK YOU, SCOTT!!!!!!! You have a LIFETIME customer in me! Buying from Michael at Paramount was entirely worth the extra drive for me from Charlotte and was as pleasant an experience as car buying can be. We negotiated price before I even saw the car (having test extra drive for me from Charlotte and was as pleasant an experience as car buying can be. We negotiated price before I even saw the car (having test driven several in Charlotte), they were able to reduce my bank's offered interest rate and at no time were they pushy, rude, condescending or any other adjective one equates with car salesmen. No last minute items were pushed other than an extended warranty (pretty sure everyone does that these days). I let the business manager go over the details but when I politely declined I wasn't pressured to make a different decision. I received what I feel is a fair price and while only time will tell on the actual car it's a pre-owned certified so no worries on the quality of the vehicle. I'm not one to buy cars all that often but I'll definitely be sending anyone in the market over to talk to the guys here. More

I like working with Jonathan K. We talked directedly to each other; I stated my needs and he showed me the possibilities. The car he said I wanted was not on the lot and he researched and found me one in each other; I stated my needs and he showed me the possibilities. My husband and I were referred to Paramount on Monday afternoon, at which time we stopped by on our way home from Hickory to Morganton. We had not decided to purchase me a new car; however, we were consi afternoon, at which time we stopped by on our way home from Hickory to Morganton. We had not decided to purchase me a new car; however, we were considering the possibility and Paramount ended up being our first and last stop as a direct result of Jonathan Kidd's friendliness, professionalism and drive to go above and beyond in order to make us happy customers. We sat in many vehicles Monday evening but did not test drive due to time constraints on our end with a one year old and again, having not decided yet to purchase a car. Jonathan kept his cool as we asked him questions about multiple cars back and forth Monday night. He was a gem! Always had a smile on his face, literally, and had answers to every question we asked him. Tuesday morning we decided to return to see Jonathan and get numbers regarding trade-in and for a 2012 Veracruz. *My husband also had a plan to stop in Hickory at different dealers so that I could see other comparable cars before deciding. At the end of a long morning, my husband and I decided to go to lunch and talk over the 'deal' that was before us for the Veracruz. I still had not seen my number one pick, Toyota Highlander. As we discussed this in front of Jonathan, he pulled up a Highlander that was in Hickory inventory and offered to get it for me to see. NEVER had I imagined a salesperson would do this. Jonathan was willing to go the distance to make sure that I was happy in my new car, whatever it wound up being. I agreed to his offer and we saw the vehicles side by side after lunch. I was majorly impressed by Jonathan's work ethic and genuine desire to make ME happy. I already wanted to send him something in return for his hard work! I could not make up my mind as I thought the Highlander was larger inside. My husband offered to measure it (with Jonathan's aide) and it turned out that the Veracruz was overall larger. I was officially sold but then changed from a blue car to a white one. That changed the price and negotiations. We eventually met with the Finance Manager (?) and he went over the specs with us. As we were about to leave, genuinely wanting to seal the deal, he offered us the blue car at a lower price. We compromised with adding in hitch and remote start at our cost and FINALLY bought my car! Through it all, we were met with professionalism, honesty and the feeling that we were already their customers even though we had not bought yet. My car was detailed while we were signing the documents. Jonathan went over everything about my car with us before we left and even showed us under the hood, etc.! He was phenomenal! Truly, this experience was awesome through and through! I just hope Jonathan earned some rest from us! I look forward to hearing when friends want to buy a car because this will be the place I tell them to go. They don't have to look any further. We didn't. Paramount was literally the one and only car dealership that we stopped at. Never would I have thought that would happen. Thank you Jonathan!!! More
