Especially one where a very close friend worked, because I have always gone with the motto, "Don't mix family with business." Going against myself I took it anyways into Paramount to see Michael Connell, and boy did I get proved wrong. Michael was the best car salesman and customer service representative that I have ever had the pleasure of working with. He treated me with the utmost respect and professionalism as I picked out my very first brand new car. Not only was this my first purchase altogether, but my first time visiting a dealership, and working with a car salesman. Within 2 days, Michael had found the perfect car, gotten me in for a test drive, did the paperwork to my liking, and gave me a great trade-in deal on the truck that I could not resist. I'm sure you're thinking, "Well that is because you're family," but that couldn't be farther from the truth. All of the employees at Paramount Valdese are good, hard-working people and professionals and I would encourage everyone to call Mr. Connell before shopping around. Service/Dealer Are Awesome...Both have been a blessing I originally bought a 2004 Hyundai Accent from Quincy in 2008 and because of his down home helpful personality I kept bringing my car back for every s I originally bought a 2004 Hyundai Accent from Quincy in 2008 and because of his down home helpful personality I kept bringing my car back for every service it needed. On New Years Eve, I noticed my check oil light was coming on. Saturday, Jan 3rd, I took my car to the service department and asked JC to let me know if there was anything wrong. He showed me how little oil they drained out of my car and said that my engine must be burning oil. I asked him if I could call my husband and let him know what was going on. My husband told me to go ahead and look for a new vehicle. Once I told JC, he told me that he would find me a dealer. Michael was very easy to deal with, he asked me what I was looking for and didn't try to push me into anything other than what I had described. He immediately found a car that was the perfect fit for me. He was very patient when I told him that I wanted to wait for my husband to test drive it. After the test drive, he let my husband and I talk in private about what we wanted to do. I really appreciated his giving us some alone time to discuss our options. Once we'd decided on getting the 2014 Hyundai Accent, Michael called the finance department. While we were waiting on some numbers to process, we had a lovely conversation with Michael. Once the numbers were finalized, Michael took us back to the finance department and I signed all the paperwork. In the meantime, Michael took my personal tag and license tag off of the car that I was trading in and put them on the new car. He helped me separate what was trash from what I wanted to keep out of the car. He even brought me a small box to load up my personal belongings from the old car. I definitely recommend Michael to anybody that is looking for a car and wants to deal with someone who is down to earth and not pushy. If you need service done, I definitely recommend all the guys in the service department. More
