Recently purchased a 2006 Honda Pilot from Paragon. It is a great car and in good condition. There was a small glitch when it came time to pay (paying with an out-of-state check) and they were very happy to work with me and present some options to work around the problem. Chris helped move everything along. My two critiques: upon arriving home, I discovered that one of they keys wasn't working to lock/unlock the car; apparently the battery needed replacing; I would think that keys would be checked out during the inspection and I had to run around to find a battery--key is still not 100%. Additionally I was promised a copy of the inspection report and didn't receive one. Aside from that, it was a relatively painless transaction for a great car at a very fair price from a solid, reputable dealer. And I feel confidant that if I have any problems, they will be handled by the dealer under the warranty. More

After expressing my budget and my expectations, Joe went with me all over the place looking for a car that would fit my needs. He literally was running all over the dealership, took me for a ride to a second place and showed me several cars to choose from. In addition, he was very sensitive to my needs and was very serious even about the color preference I had. When he showed me a car I did not like, he was very understanding and took it easy, immediately jumping to look for a better choice. Finally, we found a Honda Accord that I liked. Clean Carfax, low millage, excellent condition. Joe stood on his head, made several phone calls to his superiors and was finally able to lower the price just to fit my budget and was very happy when I accepted his final offer. Overall, I must say it is hard find such an excellent, calm and sincere salesperson and manager as Joe. I took the delivery the next day and the car has been running excellent so far. I would advise anyone going to Paragon Honda to speak to Joe Carusone or Md. directly. Md, the second salesperson I worked with, was also very helpful and had superior knowledge of Honda vehicles. He was very helpful during the final stages of my buying experience and during my car delivery. More
We purchased a Certified Pre-Owned vehicle at Paragon on a Thursday and wanted to bring it in on Saturday for some cosmetic work and to get new tires. Anthony took the time to understand and record all iss a Thursday and wanted to bring it in on Saturday for some cosmetic work and to get new tires. Anthony took the time to understand and record all issues in the workorder. He had 4 new tires put on the car and ordered the other parts. We left the car there on Saturday and he drove us to the subway station so we could head into the city. When we got back he drove past us ( I assume on his way home) walking to the service center from the subway station. He recognized us and stopped and gave us a ride to the service center and personally handed our car back to us. It was the best dealership service experience we have ever had. Even though it is not the closet Honda dealership to us (we are in Jersey), we will getting our Odyssey serviced at Paragon. Thanks Anthony. Tony and Dawn Levite More

Let me say that my experience dealing with Rick was excellent. He was courteous, attentive, honest, and seemed to really care about making my experience a decent one. I came to Paragon Honda because I excellent. He was courteous, attentive, honest, and seemed to really care about making my experience a decent one. I came to Paragon Honda because I found a good price on a 2006 certified Honda Pilot. I was very disappointed to find out the the car had not been certified prior to my arriving and it left a very bitter taste in my mouth. After all was said and done, Joe, the sales manager (very reluctantly) promised me that he would certify the vehicle if I were to purchase it. Although he did, I could tell that he didn't want to. Rick, on the other hand, assured me that the vehicle would go through the rigorous certification process to meet Honda's standard. He even stayed two hours late to make sure my car was in order. I am not only very pleased with my vehicle, but astonished that Rick was able to provide me that kind of customer service in an environment that clearly is not customer oriented. Anyway thank you Rick! More
After dealing with several unscrupulous dealers, one of which attempted to attach a "destination charge" of $1200 on a used vehicle that two hours before he told me he "took in" himself, we ended up at Par which attempted to attach a "destination charge" of $1200 on a used vehicle that two hours before he told me he "took in" himself, we ended up at Paragon. I must admit, it was a bit of a shock to get a phone call while enroute to the dealership from the marketing department, who told us to ask for Joe Carusone when we arrived. It turns out that their internet marketers check on you almost immediately after you do the "black book" valuation on your trade-in. Upon arrival we were greeted and directed straight to Joe, who knew the stock of Honda Pilots almost by memory. After listening to our needs, he sent us to see several models with Sal, who is a bright young man with a good "customer first" attitude. After seeing the Pilots on two lots, we got down to numbers which is always the place where we began having troubles. For instance, at Route 22 Honda, along with their bogus (fraudulent?) destination charge, they also had a $349 "dealer administration" charge which included a $99 "computer" charge (why, did they need a new laptop?), and tried to sneak in a $699 "millennium Package" (we're ten years into the millennium, why do I need this?)which sounded suspiciously similar to the "undercoating" made so famous by the movie "Fargo." Well, after a bit of a rough start with Joe, we ended up getting a good price on a Pilot along with a fair trade-in value. Our only negatives were the tremendous amount of time wasted sitting in the dealership while they tried to figure out what seemed to be simple issues regarding payment and insurance. If you are using another bank to finance your purchase, be sure to get a certified check from them as they are not familiar with the concept of ACH transfers or electronic checks. In fact, another manager, who failed to identify himself by name (but looks like a cross between Woody Allen and that guy from Die Hard who says "Hans, Bubbie, I'm your white knight!")who told me with a straight face that it would be irresponsible to think that a payment could be made electronically. When I pointed out that his theory was faulty, as I could just as easily produce a fake check on a printer as I could an ACH electronic check, I was told that they were doing all they could to be reasonable. Well, welcome to the 21st Century, guy. The other hang up was with the insurance card, and took a twenty minute phone call to my carrier to finally resolve. If you have a good insurance company who will work with you, you'll be fine, but beware if you do not. Overall this was certainly not a sign-and-drive experience, but for the most part I would recommend the dealership for their pricing and willingness to find the right car for your needs and budget.
