Paragon Honda experience was Great! It was a wonderful experience because of a good sales person and great Sales Manager. I wish all dealerships had knowledgeable and friendly sales personnel. I went to Paragaon-Certifed Used and the experience couldn't have been better. I financed my CR-V and Sal my dealer was so great to work with. Very honest and verrry helpful. When I found the CR-V I wanted I addressed a few issues with the upholstery of the leather and some issues with the tires that needed to get corrected and I was a little worried he wouldn't follow through with everything. BUT HE DID!!! with MORE! He gave me free mats at the end and installed them for me. The manager also gave me a full service for free because I couldn't leave with my car the same day! David at the end who gave me my tour of the CR-V was just delightful and explained everything I needed to know about my car with extra tips! Look forward to working with Paragon Honda! THANK YOU GUYS SOOO MUCH!!! :) More

On 10/26/2010 I headed out to Paragon Honda in Woodside just based on Consumer reviews (which were excellent) off of Google and select inventory I saw off the Internet...Upon arrival I was greeted Shahadat just based on Consumer reviews (which were excellent) off of Google and select inventory I saw off the Internet...Upon arrival I was greeted Shahadat Hossain. I briefly described what I was looking for and we went to work. I knew going in, it wasn't going to be easy due to not the most spectacular credit history...I had done my research and pretty much knew what to expect. I first test drove an 05 Nissa Altima which fit into my budget...I liked the car and was willing to negotiate. After running my credit, the finance man ( I believe his name was Chaudry) told me very honestly and directly that Honda wouldn't finance a nissan for me even with what I was willing to put down...3500-4000...Shahadat at this point talked to me about other options that didn't fit my price range...He asked me to wait and give him time to search for a certified Honda that fit my budget (Honda would be willing to finance their own car)...Needless to say this wasn't easy...I totally understand the job of the salesman is to make money...But the way Shahadat went about his business was first class and with total respect...I never felt uncomfortable and being that I was off from work I was willing to see...After about an hour of working the phones and the lots Shahadat found a 2007 Honda 4 door Certified Civic...I was willing to check it out...5 minutes later we realized the car was Manual and I wasn't interested...At this point I was ready to depart, but Shahadat again with first class treatment asked for more time...Little did Shahadat know I was in the market for a Coupe and thats what he found..2007 civic coupe certified...gray with about 31000 miles...perfect...We then went back to the finance manager who was busy and asked me to give him the night to set it up..'no problem'..2 hours later Shahadat I received a text from Shahadat telling me that the car was mine to pick up the next day after 5. I arrived at 5 the next day and the car was ready...I had thoughts in my mind about payments, and although they weren't met...they weren't crazy for somebody with my credit...plus all this car has to offer...warranty etc...after a very honest a good talk with Shahadat and the finace manager, it was time for me to drive off...At this time Evelin Castillo (customer service) introduced me to my car and all it had to offer giving a very thorough run through of the car...Evelin was polite, detailed and very helpful with any question I had with the car...even after i sprayed her accidently with windshield wiper fluid...I was eager to drive home and was very appreciative to all involved...The point here is that even in sales people can still act like human beings with class and respect...And thats what I experienced the whole time at Paragon...and don't fool yourself...if your credit is not great, your going to need cash to put down...simple as that...I look forward to going back when I'm ready for something new... He was genuinely friendly and gave us the time and space to search around. Mr. Arias was very helpful and knowledgeable about cars in general. His passive approach was very much appreciated. My wife and I looked at a 2010 Honda CRV LX model. Once we asked about the pricing of the vehicle we were presented with an offer we simply couldn't refuse. The process was quick, thorough and had a no pressure atmosphere. We recommend Jose to anyone interested in a good quality car with great rates. (Hey I just recommended my father too!!) More

I went to the certified lot in search of a car. I have never financed or leased a car before. I have only bought from independent owners. I was a bit nervous and didn't have any idea what to expect. I wandered the lot for about 15-20 min before anyone approached me. This was the first lot I had ever shopped in and was surprised that no one seemed interested in checking to see if I needed assistance. Too bad for them because I was there with my old car title and checkbook in hand, ready to buy. When someone finally did approach me, I explained that I wasn't much sure how to go about this process and I needed a little guidance. I asked the salesman what my options were and he asked me what I was willing to spend. When I told him, he told me "you can spend more than that". When I said that was all my budget really allowed he kind of scoffed at me and said if you really wanted to you could spend more. This immediately turned me off. He didn't suggest a smaller car or leasing or to check their regular used lot. I said, wow, well I guess I can't afford this. He said probably not and walked away. I was disgusted, discouraged and disappointed. I left with an aversion to the whole idea. After an encouraging conversation with a friend I decided to try again elsewhere. I went to Plaza in Brooklyn and had a completely different experience. Not only did I get a car, I got a new one instead of used and only ended up paying slightly more than I mentioned to the Paragon salesman. This place was rude, unprofessional and I would not recommend them to anyone. More
