Did you ever feel like xxx? My wife's good friend wanted an Odyssey and although I recommended the Toyota Sienna they were pretty adamant about the Odyssey. OK, I told them to g My wife's good friend wanted an Odyssey and although I recommended the Toyota Sienna they were pretty adamant about the Odyssey. OK, I told them to go the the local dealer and find the trim level that fits their budget which t they did. Since I was busy I told them that I would meet them at the dealership. When I got there, they were with Carlos, salesman. At this time, all we needed to work on was price. I know that they are a business and are there to turn a profit. Profit is not a dirty word. Ok, Carlos begins the negotiations with sticker plus a $900 destination or delivery charge. That means that he is trying to sell the Odyssey at $900 over the sticker price. After looking at him like he's nuts, He removes the destination charge, but he is still asking for sticker. I understand the supply and demand thing so if the market is calling for sticker price, then that is what we will have to pay. Carlos didn't budge from that number and I told him, if that is his best offer, you will have to think about it. As we started to leave, he walked away and he murmured to himself "what a waste of time. I know this dealership sells about 400 cars a month due to its prime location but just because someone sits down with you doesn't guarantee a sale. Anyway we were going to go to one more Honda dealer to see if that was true market pricing. After Carlos little comment, we decided that Paragon will not be getting our business. We ended up getting the Odyssey somewhere else with a 28,000 sales price plus taxes and registration. I know for a fact that the dealer we bought it from still made over $2,000 profit as there was a $1,000 incentive from Honda on that 2016 Odyssey LX. That is $2,300 difference than what Carlos gave us. More

Loved the fact that you serve the customers lunch and dessert. This is my 4th car, 2 were from dealerships and I've never had that experience. Would recommend some improvement in the buying process as far as the 2 keys for vehicle and that all recalls are done before delivering the car. Had to bring car back twice after purchasing 2 days prior to get the 2nd key made and now it has to go back again for a previous vibration recall. These 2 things should have been done before making them available for purchase and definitely before delivering the car to the buyer. As a customer no matter how great their overall experience was the inconvenience of having to bring car back for a 3rd time days after purchasing is frustrating. More
