Outstanding management & team - Paragon Honda Service Center I am a Columbia University Epidemiologist with an extremely hectic schedule and a low tolerance for nonsense. Anthony Petito does a simply outstandin I am a Columbia University Epidemiologist with an extremely hectic schedule and a low tolerance for nonsense. Anthony Petito does a simply outstanding job running the Paragon Honda Service Center in terms of everything that a customer values - overall quality and timeliness of service. I've witnessed this outstanding service at Paragon Honda for over 6 years and I will absolutely not take my car anywhere else to be serviced even though this location is not at all convenient for me. But I don't care because the quality of the service is worth it. Everyone at this service center is professional, courteous and eager to please. Just this past Wed night (4/20), I met with Ron and Jason Q who both handled my 9:15pm appointment after having my initial questions skillfully handled by Anthony Petito by phone. All three of these men were extremely professional, efficient and courteous. I was in and out of the service center in no time even though my appointment was at 9:15pm. In spite of the late hour, they were still going full speed ahead and pumped as if it was the start of a new day. Truly exceptional service and exemplary teamwork from Anthony Petito, Ron and Jason Q. I am always able to schedule an appointment with great ease and I then immediately receive an email confirmation with the time and date of my appointment. This is a tremendous help bc, when I arrive for my appointment, I don't have to ever worry about being denied bc the appointment was mistakenly not documented. Then, a day before my appointment, I receive an email reminder. It is such a huge help to me that they offer appointments up until 11pm and Anthony mentioned there are also available appointments overnight. Again, these late night options are absolutely invaluable to me bc my schedule is crazy but yet I want to make sure I am taking the best care of my Honda. The moment I arrive, I am consistently and immediately taken care of and I then sit in a very comfortable and well-maintained waiting room. I never witness any disgruntled customers in that waiting room and I never wait for very long at all. The entire process is PAINLESS bc the entire operation is run so efficiently thanks to Anthony and the team he hires and manages. Everything runs like clock work from the moment I drop off the car and then head outside to pick it up. Geesh, even the bathroom, after a long day, is immaculate and there's a sign inside the restroom asking customers to speak with the manager if the restroom is not clean. This is an example of what I mean by the entire place is so well-managed. They have thought about everything in the interest of the customer and they work very hard to fulfill their promises . This is NOT all talk and no action, and this is not an easy accomplishment but they make it look easy. I know exactly what it takes to hire and manage a team because I've been hiring and managing my own team of over 30 Research Assistants and Project Coordinators at Columbia for large-scale NIH grants for the past 21 years. So I am genuinely in awe and will forever remain in the Honda family bc of the service I receive at Paragon Honda Service Center as well as for the solid quality of the Honda vehicles. Factory Recall Campaign I received a letter from Honda saying there was a recall on my car awhile back. I called the dealership, Paragon Honda, where I purchased my 2010 Hon I received a letter from Honda saying there was a recall on my car awhile back. I called the dealership, Paragon Honda, where I purchased my 2010 Honda Pilot and scheduled a time to get the recall done. I contacted them on April 18, 2016 and scheduled to do the recall on Thursday April 21, 2016 where they said it would take a day to perform the fix. They told me the recall was to fix the “foul plug, tail corrosion, and bushing leak.” I showed up around 8am for my appointment before speaking to the service person. I gave her my information and she checked her computer and then told me I do not any recalls for my car. She asked if I gave her the right VIN (I did) and then asked me if I wanted to do an oil change since I was there. … I am confused how these people stay in business. I called them to service this specific recall, they verified my information and the recall when I made the appointment, but when I get there they have no idea what I’m talking about?! Not only did they waste my time, but they had the audacity to ask me if I wanted an oil change when I was visibly upset. I will not take my car to them to get anything fixed anymore, and would recommend everyone to stay away from this dealership. More

Got it 2nd time around Went to the dealer back in December to see about trading in my Corolla for a Civic. Met a guy named David Hazin. I was loving the car from that first test drive, unfortunately I just wasn't ready yet to take that leap yet. Fast forward to march and I go back hoping for the best. Not only did David remember my name (which I thought was cool), but he went ABOVE and beyond to make everything work out for me. Needless to say, the 2nd time around, I bought the Civic. Later that day I noticed there was a little knick on the bumper and issue with the trunk. David and his sales manager Rob set an appointment to have it taken care that next week, and I couldn't be happier with the way they handled it...If you want somebody who's going to make you feel comfortable with buying a vehicle and actually follow through with the things he said he will do, David is that man More
Worst Experience ever! I went to Paragon Honda to buy a certified 2015 Honda Accord which was advertised for $17839. I called and confirmed the car is there and I am ready t I went to Paragon Honda to buy a certified 2015 Honda Accord which was advertised for $17839. I called and confirmed the car is there and I am ready to get it as I was already approve by my bank. The next day before I got there, re-check the car online and they already raised the price to $18500. Finally arrived, they told me a bunch of crap and added up to 2000 more ending up a final price $20835. After 3 hours of waiting to see the car so I can sign papers, they told to come back tomorrow they cannot find my bank. The next day, the price online was raise again to $19850 (Same car that I want to buy). As I was on the deal, I don't mind cause we agreed on a price. Arrived at the dealership and talked to the salesman Sivaraj Rajagopal which was really easy talking and friendly made me wait as he has to talked to the manager about the deal so we can close it; met the manager (sitting at the front entrance desk on your left, I guess Sayed Abu), he told me the car has no paper I can't get it now or I would have to wait 3 weeks for the title then start offering me another Honda with more mileage that has lot of scratches and dents. I told him, you buy what you like, I like the one I saw as there is no dents or scratches with low mileage which was 3000 miles. I have been waiting over an hour for final response whether or not thy will take mu deposit to secure the car but they ignore me, this was a Friday. When go back next week, guess what, they sold the car for more money to someone else and telling me a bunch of craps, still trying to sell me other cars that I don't want. Please do not go to Paragon Honda. They will f*cked your mind, adding Honda Care for no reason, adding a $900 fees for no reason and so on. More
Could be better.. I brought my 2005 Accord in on 4/1/16 to have the Airbag recall/fix done. I had called in advance to make the appointment, expecting to simply drop th I brought my 2005 Accord in on 4/1/16 to have the Airbag recall/fix done. I had called in advance to make the appointment, expecting to simply drop the car off there, go to work, and come back in the evening to pick it up. I was quite unhappy to have to wait so long outside in a line of cars until I was eventually able to drive it inside, causing me to come in late to my job. The airbag recall was done, but there still is an intermittent issue with the airbag indicator light coming on, which I will have to call Michael Valencia (whom I dealt with when I was there) to see about getting it fixed, as it may not pass Inspection when its performed next month. I also have a 'check engine' light indicator, to which, Valencia mentioned some things regarding the catalytic converter, and a replacement cost of about $1,700. Its still unclear to me on why my car, which only has 44K miles would have any issue with 'check engine'... hopefully, there is a much simpler and less expensive solution to fixing what should be a very minor issue, such as disconnecting-reconnecting the battery to remove the indicator and then do the Inspection so that it passes. Valencia called me later to inform that the brake and power steering fluid should be changed. Although I agree that these fluids should be changed at some point, I dont consider these tasks to be very difficult or time-consuming for a Honda mechanic to do, thus, I consider having to pay close to $400 for just these two things to be quite excessive. I was told to do a throttle-body service, but I declined, as I just cant afford to pay as much as the dealer wants to charge. In conclusion, I was also upset when I went back to Paragon yesterday evening to pick up my car. Valencia already left for the day, so I went inside and waited, and waited.... I finally decided to not waste more time, and just went over to someone who was at his desk chatting on his cellphone, in order to get my work papers so I could finally pay the bill and go home. After the bill was paid, I then had my patience tested even further with a long wait to have the car driven over so that I could leave. I had to remind the lady three times to call the attendant and have him bring the car to me, sigh.... Based on yesterday's experience, I dont see any reason to visit Paragon Honda again. When my Inpection is due next month, I'd rather just go to 'Pep Boys', where I can simply park the car in their lot, get to the counter within a few minutes and have the work ready to be done, and its usually not a long wait to get the car when its ready. They also send discount coupons to me on a regular basis, which is appreciated, as I am struggling financially with alot of debt, and Honda dealer prices are just too expensive for most things. (folks- how long and how hard is it to change two fluids, its not a major engine repair or anything like that! , I'm sure I have to work alot longer to earn the same almost $400, that I had to pay the dealer for the simple job). Sales employee, Fernando Urdininea was helpful with finding exactly the car I wanted (2016 Honda Accord Touring) and with no pressure I was comfortable with my decision. Alexis Mannino in finance went over additional packages and made sure all paperwork was thoroughly in order. Last, but not least Rosaury Delgado, the Delivery Specialist explained all the features available and answered any questions I had about the car. A courtesy call was made by her days later in regards to any other concerns or questions that I may have had. Overall, I am satisfied with the customer service I received. It was Excellent!!!
