My experience at Paragon Acura went better than I expected. The salesman Joe Rosa is a true professional and I can only hope that any future customers can experience what I did. The moment I set foot expected. The salesman Joe Rosa is a true professional and I can only hope that any future customers can experience what I did. The moment I set foot in the door I was met with courtesy, professionalism and respect. I was able to take time and really go over any details & questions I had. The salesperson is on top of his game and is not your typical car salesman. He is not pushy, over the top and impatient. Rather Joe is able to guide with diligence and patience. I was able to get the vehicle I desired and I am extremely satisfied. Overall the experience was delightful and more importantly the car is great. I thank Paragon Acura for displaying true professionalism. The car they sold is great and our family is delighted and excited for our new car. We are looking forward to enjoying the Acura MDX. More
Steven Deng is absolutely wonderful. I bought an RDX from him a year ago and its fantastic. He was quick to explain the features of the car and did a very good job of showing me how certain functions work. P him a year ago and its fantastic. He was quick to explain the features of the car and did a very good job of showing me how certain functions work. Paragon Acura itself is a wonderful place because it offers many amenities to waiting clients as well as having a full service shop very close by. After doing extensive online research to see which vehicle would suit me, i decided to go to Paragon Acura. Steven provided excellent service and I was able to look at the RDX, place a deposit, complete paperwork and pick up a brand new car all within a week! I was also please to get a very low interest rate and a great plate number. I highly recommend Steven from Paragon. More

I would like to compliment Joe Rosa for his great customer service and thank him for going out of his way to make this deal possible. He was actually my sales associate that sold me my 09 honda accord and I was very happy to see him at the acura dealership. Also Wendy Desharis was incontact with me regarding my satisfaction with the sale process and was very pleasant to speak with. I bought a new 2010 Acura TL at another dealership because they had the only color combination i was looking for. 1 month later, transmission had a slight problem. Came to Paragon Acura because its c because they had the only color combination i was looking for. 1 month later, transmission had a slight problem. Came to Paragon Acura because its close to my work. At first I thought they would give me a hard time since I did not buy the car here...boy was I wrong! Not only did they took my car in right away, ( Chris...I forgot his last name but he is a super nice service advisor) their service manager also managed to get me a loaner car (Mike Timpone was the manager), they are the most efficient/effective people I have met in any dealership service center. It was a SMOOTH transaction over all from Taking my car in to letting me out in their loaner. I would give an A+ for that. The next day come, Chris calls me and says the car is ready! Now that was amazing! Apprantly Mike and Chris ordered the parts needed and have ACURA over nighted the parts over! (I thought it would take days if not a week to fix...) I have owned many cars, went to many different service centers, i have been through the same "service Run arounds"; but Paragon Acura has completely changed my experience and perspective of a dealership service center! I hope they keep up the good work because they have just earned themselves a royal customer. More
I recently went to Paragon Acura for a regular service visit, and I walked out with a brand new car with an amazing deal. The staff there is always courteous, and professional making my trip out to Woods visit, and I walked out with a brand new car with an amazing deal. The staff there is always courteous, and professional making my trip out to Woodside, Queens from Canarsie, Brooklyn worthwhile. My last car, a 2005 Acura TL was purchased and exclusively serviced by Paragon Acura, and most importantly, it was easy on my wallet. The car was basically trouble free, and regular maintenance is surprisingly affordable at this level. The service department also has it's share of specials. It's this kind of balance in affordability that makes Paragon Acura a great one solution shop for consumers needing reliable transportation that maintains excellent re-sale value. Affordability is important to me because I'm not a rich guy. It feels good to be able to purchase an upscale vehicle and maintain it without having to spend exhorbitant amounts throughout the period of ownership. More
After confirming Friday afternoon via email with Stephanie (Client Relations) that a blue 2007 RDX Tech was still available. I made an appointment that I'd be there the next day, Saturday to take a Stephanie (Client Relations) that a blue 2007 RDX Tech was still available. I made an appointment that I'd be there the next day, Saturday to take a look at it. When we arrive there at 11:35 am the next morning. We were introduced to a Joe (Sales Consultant) and we sat down at his desk. After some checking, we were informed that the car we had come in to look at was sold 2 days ago. Their excuse was that there was something "wrong" with their system and that the car was still in Stephanie's system. Then after stepping away for more checking Joe returns and says he has a black one for us. We drive to another annex of the dealership and when we get there, it's a 2008 RDX Base and it wasn't a Tech model. Even if it was why would I consider a more expensive 2008 RDX tech when my intention was to purchase a 2007 model? Joe did not push us to purchase this car but on the way back he asked what other cars I had considered besides the RDX. I said I had considered the CR-V prior to the RDX. Then Joe asks if I would be interested in looking at a CR-V instead. Of course I turned him down. Basically, their goal was to get me into the dealership to gauge my buying interest and to see if they can interest me in another car other than the one I had came to see. What is particularly galling is that I had previous email correspondence with Stephanie stating that my wife and I had traveled far to other dealerships in NJ already and each visit was a waste of time and would like to avoid another fruitless trip. So then what does she do? Schedule my wife and I for a bait and switch. Needless to say, we will never step foot inside this dealership again. When will car dealers realize that part of the reason why the car market isn't doing so well is because of the whole car buying experience? A vehicle purchase is the 2nd most expensive item that a person will buy, the 1st being a house. Unlike any other product we purchase, the salespeople in the car industry are the consumers' enemies. They do their best to use underhanded tactics, lie, cheat, or whatever to get the customer to pay as much as they can for a car. No wonder cringe when it's time to buy a car. How many TVs would Best Buy sell if we had to walk into the store then negotiate a price for one and then have the salesperson add on additional fees? Why can't a dealership do away with commissions and pay salespeople a base salary and give bonuses instead? Make your profit by selling a higher volume of cars with fair standard across the board no haggle prices instead. If you improve the buying experience without the sleaze, customers will flock to your dealership giving you the higher volume of sales. More
Worse experience by far. Spent 2 hours trying to get a lease on 2010TSX with tech. package. Started out good, got the test drive out of the way. Thats when all the fun started. Marvin and other sales lease on 2010TSX with tech. package. Started out good, got the test drive out of the way. Thats when all the fun started. Marvin and other sales people at the dealership love to go talk to their "managers" every time he went there he would disappear for 15 minutes at a time. So first time he leaves, comes back later and gives me a crazy lease numbers. So I play along and explain to him that this is not the first dealership that I visited. I also give him my color options. He leaves again, comes back 15 minutes later and starts asking me "What can we do to make this happen today" at this I told him what would make me get the car today which was a very reasonable number. He makes me initial a piece of paper so that "he can take it to his GM and tell him that I actually intend to do this today". This is the stupidest thing I ever seen. I play along and do it. then he asks me to give him credit card and my driver license :). again very stupid thing to do. He comes back 10 minutes later and and tells me that GM accepted my offer and we can proceed. He tells me that he has black and black car available and I can drive out in a new car today. That's when things went from bad to worse. Turns out according to him "we only have 2 cars in stock. One black and 1 white). I ask him to show me the black one. He takes me outside and shows me the same car that I test drove. I told him that I will not take a used car. He proceeded to convince me that its a new car and the lies started. First he tells me that nobody else drove the car except me. its still brand new and he tells me that it only has 12 miles on it. Problem with this is that I negotiated pricing on a new car, not a test drive car. I proceed to tell him that and I tell him that I will consider it if he adjusts the price. He leaves again, comes back and says "great news, GM agreed and we will take $100 off the out of pocket cost." then he proceeds to tell me that car with 12 miles on it is brand new and there will be no problems. he also tells me that he will give me a receipt so i can come back on Monday and get the car detailed because it was covered in spots since it was parked outside. That means that I have to drive 20 miles each way to the dealership on Monday to get something done that should be done before the car gets to me. At that point I go outside to inspect it and I ask him to show me the mileage. he starts the car and tells me that car has 26 miles. At this point I get pretty upset since this is lie number 3 in a span of half an hour. 26 miles on a test drive car is a lot and I know how people treat the test drive cars they drive. everybody pushes it to the max to see what it can do. I'm one of those people. So I call him out on his lies and tell him that the price needs to go even lower. Of course I gave him choices. option one was to find me brand new car in my color and I would pay the price negotiated. I take this car and you lower the price since its used and he lied to me. At that point he leaves again, comes back to me and tells me with straight face that "GM doesn't want to deal with me anymore". My advice is to avoid this dealership and save your self a headache. Reading other website reviews about the dealership, it looks like its filled with salespeople whose main goal is to extract as much money from you as possible with no regard for their customers. My family and I had a very pleasant first time buying experience at Paragon Acura. Our sales person Mr. Wong was very helpful, real and did not try to sell us gimmicks! He also did a nice job of gettin experience at Paragon Acura. Our sales person Mr. Wong was very helpful, real and did not try to sell us gimmicks! He also did a nice job of getting us a good deal on our 2009 MDX. Overall, it was an easy venture, even for a first time buyer because the dealership took care of all the DMV paperwork and insurance coverage set-up. Our financial officer Jean was also very helpful and patient in explaining our financing options and giving us all possible scenarios. Our delivery assistant Ms. Deshais was funny and explained to me and my family what features the vehicle has and help us set-up a few features. The dealership was clean, easy to get to via public transportation and they had a good selection of vehicles. I rated the dealership 4.6 because overall the dealership was great with customer service, quality of work, and friendliness; with the overall experience and price, it was good because I was bombarded (every day about 3-4 times a day for about 1 week) by phone calls from the customer service department asking me how my experience was. After I took the survey once, they called again, and again, and again. I told them that I had already taken the survey and they forgot to note it in the system until finally I told the last person who called that I was very upset that they kept calling me. In regards to the price, Mr. Wong was able to work out a pretty good deal although a little less would have been better! I would highly recommend this dealership to other buyers!!! More
Work with Ellen Song after long negotiation got closer to the price I'm willing to pay. Boy to I mean long time to haggle with the price. But be sure you get your own loan rate and compare with the loan offi the price I'm willing to pay. Boy to I mean long time to haggle with the price. But be sure you get your own loan rate and compare with the loan officer. They like to xxxxxxxx about the rate like you have to install lo-jack and the bank will give you a better rate. They tried this on me by saying AHFC gave me this rate for the car if I pay extra and get the lo-jack installed and they will give me a higher one if I don't get it installed. I was lucky that my friend went through this and was able to get almost everything back from them. He called AHFC and they said it was false and the loan officer had lie to him. All of that is crap watch out for this from there loan person. Don't be con into buying anything to lower your rate like lo-jack, extended warranty, tire package etc. Know your credit and fico score you should be able to get better rates. If not get your loan somewhere else. I was lucky enough to refinance my car loan. I not sure but I think they might get a little kick back for the loan they give out. (Don’t quote me in this but be careful with the loan officer). Double check everything before you sign anything. GOOD LUCK!! More
