I could not be happier with my new car and will recommend my Acura to all who inquire. The product quality is overall excellent, and most likely will be no matter where you choose to buy. It is the customer my Acura to all who inquire. The product quality is overall excellent, and most likely will be no matter where you choose to buy. It is the customer service at Paragon Acura that stands out. In the course of my purchase, I encountered a few obstacles and sought the aid of a manager, Angela. Not only did she resolve each issue for me on the spot, she followed through to make sure everything was executed as promised. She definitely understands how important it is for the buyer to feel confident when making such an important purchase. I will not hesitate to return to Paragon Acura for all future automobile needs. I contacted Paragon Acura this past weekend about a 2009 RDX with technology package and about 3000 miles listed for about $26,900. I called Saturday evening and was told the vehicle was available, and I c RDX with technology package and about 3000 miles listed for about $26,900. I called Saturday evening and was told the vehicle was available, and I called back Sunday morning to double check and was again told it was available. I then decided to make the hour and a half drive from Central New Jersey out to Queens. When I got there, I was told the vehicle was sold 2 days ago and that the system the employees check inventory in does not update right away. If this is the case, then their employees should not tell people the vehicle is there if there is a chance it isn't. What they should do is actually get up, go check the lot, and see if the vehicle is there, or check with sales to make sure the vehicle was not sold. Instead, Paragon Acura lied to me about the vehicle being there, then wasted nearly 4 hours of my time, and my money on gas and tolls to drive out to Queens and back. All they could offer me was to show me around the lot to see if there were any other vehicles I was interested in. They asked if I was interested in a 2008 RDX with tech package, 40k miles, for $26,000. This is not nearly as good a deal as a 2009 RDX with tech package and 3k miles for $26,900. They also told me that their vehicles are all priced to sell which is why the first RDX was listed at such a great price. It’s interesting how only the vehicles they no longer have are “priced to sell”. I told them I wasn’t interested and then asked for them to reimburse me for my wasted money on gas and tolls, and they said there was no policy for this. I suppose their only policy is to lie to and mislead prospective customers. What makes this even more frustrating is that this vehicle was listed at a fantastic price about $6000 below retail price. This seems like a total bait and switch sales tactic. They lure the customer in with a great deal, then when they get there, tell them the vehicle isn't there, and try to sell them something that isn't priced nearly as competitively. This sales tactic essentially amounts to fraud, and it's illegal!!! Then the salesman even went as far to tell me that the amount of RDX's on the market was going to quickly diminish due to winter approaching and that I should look at what they have before I'm out of luck. A quick internet search reveals that there are literally hundreds of used RDXs in the area though. Paragon, if you are reading this, all you had to do was actually check to make sure the vehicle was there before telling me it's available to take a look at. Instead, you lied to me, lured me into your dealership, tried to sell me on other vehicles that aren't priced nearly as competitively. Then you went as far to tell me that if I waited too long, there wouldn't be many RDXs left in the area. The result is a terrible review that will likely be read by hundreds if not thousands of prospective buyers. I would never consider purchasing a vehicle from Paragon Acura based on this experience, and I will make sure to inform my friends and family of this as well. More
Paragon Acura: always excellent customer service until today! I originally purchased my car from Acura of Manhattan after having a unpleasant result at Paragon Acura. Since I live in Brooklyn I dec today! I originally purchased my car from Acura of Manhattan after having a unpleasant result at Paragon Acura. Since I live in Brooklyn I decided to give Paragon Acura Service Dept a try and that when I first met with Chris Urena. Since the first day I walked into Paragon Acura, Mr. Urena has always been very informative, professional, and pleasant to work with. He always makes sure he fully explains to me the work being done on my car and his recommendations. And most importantly if I drop off my car, he calls periodically to give me updates. I always had a pleasant experience at Acura due to Chris excellent customer service level which always made me come back to this particular dealer. However today 11/4 I had a service appointment scheduled and walking into the dealership I no longer see Chris Urena. One of the service advisors advised me that he left the dealership and is no longer with the company. Thats when everything went wrong. A gentleman by the name of Kevin attended me today had me wait 10-15 mins while he finishes some paperwork and then gets on the phone while I'm sitting with him to order breakfast! Again this is 11/4 at 7:25 AM. He has me signs and tells me he will call me when the car is ready. I asked him around what time the job will be completed, he says by 1 pm. Well it was 2pm and no call from Acura. I decided to call the general number since my contact (chris) was no longer there. The receptionist tells me to speak with my advisor Kevin, she transfers me and after 10 rings I get no answer. I call again she just says no your car isnt ready and I'll leave a message with Kevin. 3 PM no call from Kevin or Acura. At 3:30 pm I call again, the same lady informs me the car isnt ready and transfers me to Kevin who doesn't answer again after numerous rings. Finally at 6 pm I get a call from a lady to tell me the car is ready! This was the worst experience ever. Not only did I never hear from my service advisor Kevin but when I picked up the car at 7pm I had to wait another 15 minutes for him to get my car. He doesn't explain anything that was done to my car, but just tells me that I should expect a call from Acura Service and rate him a 10 to help him out! Unbelievable! Its a shame that I had to hear Chris Urena left the dealership. Not only was this individual knowledgeable, professional and courteous, his service kept me in business with Acura Paragon even though I already had a unpleasant experience when purchasing my 09 MDX. It is also disturbing to hear such individual with so much enthusiasm to help his clients left the company in its entirety. Obviously there is something wrong with Paragon Acura and its employees. I dont think I will ever return to this dealership again! More

I am soo excited that I found a dealership like Paragon Acura because I went to more than 5 car dealerships and everyone turned me down, but the the minute I walked in there the first thing they told me if Acura because I went to more than 5 car dealerships and everyone turned me down, but the the minute I walked in there the first thing they told me if I want to test drive the car that I wanted and they didn't ask me how was my credit or if I can afford the car, they just ask me what's the car i was looking for and right away I spoke with the Sale person Camilo and less than 48 hours I drove away with my dream car, this was the best experience ever, the Staff are really friendly and also the Manager and the Finance Manager made sure I left happy and statisfied, I will definitely come here again to purchase my next car and I recommend everyone to come visit this dealership because you will leave happy :) More

One would think that since they had a first good experience with a dealer that things would be the same or better as a returning customer. I was very disappointed with these clowns the second time a experience with a dealer that things would be the same or better as a returning customer. I was very disappointed with these clowns the second time around. They should be selling used cars. Wendy or whatever her name is and jose are the most hypocritical people i have met. Backed by their managers, they are able to bamboozle the unsuspecting client. As i said, my first experience was decent so naturally i expected better as a returning customer. I will take my business and anyone that asks me as far as posible from ParaCON Acura. More
Mr. Jose Arias was the most professional salesman i've ever dealt with. I walked into Paragon Honda looking at their certified cars and did not see anything to my liking. Just as I was about to leave Mr. ever dealt with. I walked into Paragon Honda looking at their certified cars and did not see anything to my liking. Just as I was about to leave Mr. Arias stopped me and said Hi my name is Jose, I noticed you were looking at the cars, did you see anything you like? I said no and continued strapping my daughter in her car seat. He told me ok we have Acura's at the other lot would you like to see them? I would be happy to answer any questions you have and I am sure you will like a car that sparks your interests. From that point he turned my negative view of Paragon into a positive. Not only did he take the initiative to approach me when i was just about to leave at the same time he did not pressure me or make me feel like it was just another sale. With his knowledge of inventory and product details I felt like I was dealing with someone who knew what he was doing and once I found the Acura I loved from then it got easier. Mr. Arias introduced me to Ms. Wendy Deshals and she went through in thorough detail about the Acura I purchased. Any questions I had for her she was very knowledgeable about the car and got me to know and get a seamless transition to the car. I walked into Paragon Sunday, Oct. 17th and drove off with my certified '08 Acura TSX Monday, Oct. 18th. I will definitely recommend my friends and family to Jose and Wendy for their superb professionalism and excellent knowledge of the cars sold at Paragon Honda and Acura. More
I purchased a factory certified TL from Paragon in September 2010. Right from the start I should have walked away. Within a few days of owning the car the following occurred: shaking at high speeds September 2010. Right from the start I should have walked away. Within a few days of owning the car the following occurred: shaking at high speeds (this ended up being bent rims) and the battery died. The battery issue was resolved quickly. However, after several occassions of going to Paragon, I have yet to get rims that are not bent. Their first attempt in "fixing" this issue was just balance the tires and not check the quality of the rims (like I asked). The next attempt they looked at the tires and rotated/balanced the tires again. They still did not look at the rims and I told them that there was still a shake. They asked me to go to an independent shop. I went to a shop and they told me I have 3 bent rims! Paragon then told me that they would replace all 4 rims with NEW rims. I brought the car in and they replaced the old rims with USED rims that were scratched and beat up. They assured me that these rims are not bent and they would re-condition the appearance. I reluctantly took the car. As I drove home the shaking was the worst it had ever been. I called up the managers (who I had been speaking to long before this) and said that this needs to be resolved immediately. They took my car back and sent the rims to be re-conditioned. I thought this would resolve all my issues. Although the rims look great, I came to find out that 2 of the rims have slight bends. What kind of re-conditioning did these guys do?! Acura Client Relations is involved and I hope to have all my issues resolved soon, but it is now mid-October and I do not enjoy driving my new car. I would not recommend Paragon to anyone. They are nice to your face, but become deceiptful while you are not around. One last thing-they did not even file my out of state DMV paperwork properly. I had to sit in my state's DMV for 1 hour to resolve their mistake. More
