I have had my Acura TSX for almost 6 years now and to be honest for 6 years I have avoided going to the dealership for service due to hearing horror stories from others and previous experiences. I recently received a notice from Acura explaining that my car was recalled and i had to go into the dealer to be serviced. From the moment I walked into the Acura service center at Paragon I was greeted by my service advisor Matt who was extremely friendly and courteous and explained exactly what was going on and what needed to be done to my car, not just a gimmick to get customers in the door like I previously thought. Despite being informed that I would have to leave my car half a day to have this recall performed Matt was able to get my car finished in 2 hours WITH a car wash. This experience has definitely altered my thinking as far as dealerships go and I may even be looking to purchase a new car within the next year and I will now most likely be dealing with Paragon when that time comes. One thing is for sure, I will absolutely be bringing my car in to see Matt at my next scheduled maintenance. More
I have a 1997 Acura CL and there was a recall on the ignition switch. I called the day before to set up an appointment the next morning, but unfortunately when I arrived I was informed they did not hav ignition switch. I called the day before to set up an appointment the next morning, but unfortunately when I arrived I was informed they did not have the part in stock. It was simply a mistake made by the secretary that made the appointment, she didn't check to see if the necessary part was in stock. I was very angry and frustrated as I had taken the day off from work and would have to go to work late the next day after bringing my car back again. The next day I brought my car in at 8am and dealt with Matt and he really took care of me and made up for the mistake by throwing in a free oil change and even got me a loaner car for the that day, the next (service is closed on July 4th) and Friday! So I had a brand new RDX to drive for a few days! Matt was great, he really went above and beyond to make up for the mistake the day before and because of him I got to work on time! Matt was very professional, efficient, and nice. The guy deserves a promotion and raise! I will definitely be recommending this dealership to my friends and family. When I am ready for a new or pre-owned Acura, I will be coming here. My car is 16 years old and if they treated me this well, it really shows how well they treat their customers. More
I just leased a 2014 Acura MDX with Paragon Acura, and traded in my 2011mdx w/tech..All I can say is Wow!!! It was 1st class treatment from the start of my buying process. I googled the crap out of the ne traded in my 2011mdx w/tech..All I can say is Wow!!! It was 1st class treatment from the start of my buying process. I googled the crap out of the new MDX and I thought I knew just about all. Their knowledge on the newly released vehicle was a breath of fresh air that increased my confidence that this new MDX was for me. The icing on the whole process was that Paragon even delivered the new MDX to my driveway. 100% professional and trustworthy, and yes the 2014 is awesome.. I recommend to all..... Tim More

Shortly after my purchase of the 2013 RDX there was a recall for the brake shift interlock issue which I was quite disappointed about. After several failed attempts to have a courtesy car set up for me, I was forced to bring in my vehicle for recall at my inconvenience on 5/16/2013. After dropping my car off at the dealership, I was told the car will be ready in about 4hours and ill be contacted for pickup. Of course, I received no call. After 6hours, I took the initiative to call in. I waited patiently upon arrival at the dealership for the car to be driven over from the warehouse. Thirty minutes later, representative Kevin Cunningham informed me that my car received a parking violation due to Acura attendant's failure to pay the meter. I was reassured the ticket will be taken care of and I had nothing to be concerned about. I took Mr. Cunningham's word for it. On 6/7/2013, I received a letter from NYC Finance in regards to "pre-paid notice of unpaid violation" with an additional penalty added if not received by 6/15/2013. I immediately contacted Acura dealership on the 7th. The representative told me Kevin is occupied at the moment and will call me right back. I received no call and when I reached out again, they said the department is closed and I need to call back again tomorrow. I called in on the 8th, the representative said "the service associates are all off because its a Sunday, please call back tomorrow." I called in on the 9th, the representative said "Kevin Cunningham is off today, he's the one that submitted your payment, you will need to call back tomorrow" I called in today, 10th, of course Mr. Cunningham is not in. I asked to speak to a manager. The manager so happens to be on the phone. This representative took my message and said the manager will call me back later today. I received no call therefore I call in again at 7pm to follow up. Of course, Acura's representative told me to call in tomorrow. I need this to be filed as a formal complaint with Paragon Acura's customer service. Acura's employees do not take ownership of clients issue and brushes service problems all off once the sale is made. I wonder if this is what Acura really represents. I want a response from a regional manager in reference to this Woodside Acura team. I cannot begin to express how great my experience was with Paragon Acura. This was the 2nd time I've dealt with this dealer. I dealt with Melvin Salcedo, and he was extremely professional and not your ty with Paragon Acura. This was the 2nd time I've dealt with this dealer. I dealt with Melvin Salcedo, and he was extremely professional and not your typical pushy salesman. I expressed my need to trade in my car (which I purchased from them 4 yrs ago) and get into a newer leased vehicle. He was very patient and never made me feel pressured. I can totally appreciate his professionalism. He listened to my needs and together we came up with a price I was comfortable trading the car for and and a payment I felt comfortable with. Its been 5 days since acquiring my new vehicle and I've spoken to Melvin to follow up and a sales manager who called to check in and see if I had any questions.
