The experience at Paradise was nothing short of impressive. Joe, our sales representative, set a new bar for all dealership sales reps to follow. For the past decade I have owned a BMW 535i, BMW M3 impressive. Joe, our sales representative, set a new bar for all dealership sales reps to follow. For the past decade I have owned a BMW 535i, BMW M3, BMW 530i, Mercedes Benz C230, and a Land Rover LR3 HSE. I am completely sold on European cars as they are well built engineering master pieces. I never had that opinion about American cars especially after the auto bailout. It was now time to trade in my wife's MB C230. We almost bought an Audi A6 (although I really wanted the A7!!!) but since we buy cars every 5 years or so, I like to go around to the various dealerships to see what is offered in addition to evaluate the dealership experience. BMW- I cannot believe how far my beloved BMW has fallen. Really?? $70k for a 535i?? Way over priced for something everyone seems to drive not too mention the onboard navigation is rather limited compared to Audi or Cadillac. Audi- LOVED Audi! But did not like the price for what is offered elsewhere AND maintenance is extra. Sales guy was great and not pushy. But I could not justify a $65k+ price tag for what Cadillac was offering. Jaguar- Not sure what to say. I get a lot of emails from the sales guy but when I showed up to test drive, he was with someone else and never came out to give me an approx time he would be with us. After 45 mins, I left. Lexus- GS350 F Sport- Nice car and nice sales guy but everyone drives a Lexus. Additionally, my wife was just so-so on the car. Cadillac- Seriously???!!! I could not believe how much you received with this line of car. I really like the XTS but my wife's happiness was more important. So we opted for a FULLY loaded 2013 ATS. Could not be happier (almost!!). It is a bit small for my liking (which is why I was leaning towards the XTS) but this thing is very similar to the BMW 535i and Audi A6 that I test drove. The best part is that I save between $10-20k, bought AMERICAN, and it takes REGULAR gas (NOT premium), full maintenance for 4 years, and a very decent warranty. The dealership? They (Paradise Chevrolet) are there to make money. But I am came in knowing my facts and they were very gracious and did not pull any typical dealer antics. If they did, I would have walked. Everyone from Joe to our finance guy were very welcoming and PROFESSIONAL. Why? Because instead of selling us a car, they sold us a tailored solution for our current driving needs. They listened to what WE needed and did not try to stick us with something they get the most commission from. Because of that, I have absolutely no problem sending customers their way and giving them the highest recommendations. Our sales rep Joe is AWESOME! He was extraordinarily patient and professional. He leaves all of the "high end" dealerships/ sales reps in the dust. Actually, Joe could start his own business consulting with dealerships no matter what end of the spectrum they cater to on how to be professional. He was extremely respectful to my wife and kids. The BMW sales rep insulted my wife within 5 mins of meeting us to the point she refused to step foot in that particular dealership. He followed up with us to ensure we were happy and even invited me back to test drive the CTS-V. Bottom line: I cannot believe I bought a Cadillac. Everyone takes a double look at me when I tell them as they swore I would show up with an Audi A6/A7 or BWM. Then they take a double look when they see the ATS. They are like "Thats a Cadillac???!!!" Cadillac has really improved (not really doing it justice) from what they used to build. They are now finally competing against the Germans and in my opinion, giving them a run for OUR money. Go to Paradise Chevrolet and ask for Joe. You will not regret it. More
