We drove into the Paradise Chevrolet Cadillac Dealership by mistake. We were actually going to look at the Ford Fusions across the street. It was a cold morning, frost on the cars, etc. Out comes this sales by mistake. We were actually going to look at the Ford Fusions across the street. It was a cold morning, frost on the cars, etc. Out comes this salesperson and what I remember about him is that he leaped out of the building with great ease and determination to sell a car on New Year's Eve day at 8:30 a.m. in the morning. So he shivered through his speech explaining how great this particular "certified" 2011 Chevy Cruze was. My husband asked for coffee and the two bounced off to another building to accommodate his wish, while I sat in the "wonder" car trying to warm up. Everyone scrambled into the "warmed up" car and we drove off asking John not to speak because I wanted to experience the car without any input. I think that request kind of shocked him. So we accomplished our test drive and John actually encouraged us to drive the vehicle in certain places that were familiar to us. This then would help us understand the car's manouverability. It was probably obvious that we were very interested and the transaction had to work for us. Well John was very good with us and listened to our wishes and wants. John used humor, knowledge and good questions to assess what our needs were in buying a newer car and what kind of financial deal we could afford. Buying a car is stressful and creates anxiety and what I needed from any car salesperson that day was a good listening ear, good questions, good facts about the car and even the shortcomings of the car. This person needed to know when to be quiet and when to talk and needed good negotiation and social skills without "blowing" us out of the water. We needed someone who wanted to work with us. We got all that in John Capelli and more. We drank more coffee than usual, ate popcorn, cracked jokes, went through a variety of emotions and in the end felt that we had the best experience "ever" in buying a car. I appreciated John taking the time to walk me through the car features. That was very helpful. Thanks to you John and the other employees at the dealership. We would do it again and "Yes" we would recommend you to our friends and family members. Thanks again everyone. More
