Well, the "New" Jeep experience at Papas did not go so well :( I realize that people make mistakes, but when a new car is delivered to a customer it should be done right the first time. My not go so well :( I realize that people make mistakes, but when a new car is delivered to a customer it should be done right the first time. My list of concerns and disappointments: 1) Jeep was not prepped properly and ready to go. I paid over $500 for the "Amazing" Simoniz service and the Jeep looked like a high school kid waxed it in his backyard and sprayed Scotchguard out of a can that he picked up at Walmart. The over spray from the can was not even wiped up! Dry wax all over the edges and on the black trim. . . Not a professional job! 2) Brand new jeep presented to customer with a "brand NEW ding" on driver's side passenger door and nobody "noticed" it till I walked up to the Jeep and saw it immediately. What the xxxx? 3) All paperwork was prepared with my wife's name misspelled. Had to sign documents twice! 4) I reviewed the Jeep Warranty book which came with my new 2011 Jeep Liberty and noted that on page 21 paragraph 4.2 Pre-Delivery Service that "A defect in or damage to the mechanical, electrical, sheet-metal, paint, trim, and other components of your vehicle may have occurred at the factory or while it was being shipped to the dealer. Such defects or damage is usually detected at the factory. In addition, dealers must inspect each vehicle before delivery. They repair any defects or damage BEFORE the vehicle is delivered to you." Car had sudden misfunction and my wife was told to come right over. She did and the problem was diagnosed and fixed while she waited. Only concern is why the minivan would need new brakes at 10K miles. P right over. She did and the problem was diagnosed and fixed while she waited. I thought the site inventory wasnt up to date. I made a decent offer on a car that had been sitting on your lot for over 7 months. I was laughed at. The car was listed on your site having only 180001 miles decent offer on a car that had been sitting on your lot for over 7 months. I was laughed at. The car was listed on your site having only 180001 miles for a certain price however the car had 2000 more miles than listed when we arrived. I was at Papas a year ago looking to purchase a car and the manager wouldnt budge on the price again for another car that had been sitting on your lot for over 45days. Realistcally i only purchased the car from Papas for the price. My first choice in cars is still stitting on your lot. Had I gotten a higher price I would have certainly purchased elsewhere. I used Bolles in tha past for service and thought they were a much more pleasant group of people to work with. I would like to add that the salesman I worked with "Dan" and the finance manager "Angel" played a huge role in me buying the car from Papas. Again from past experience and working with David Corbin world encorage me to look elsewhere than Papas, which I did only for the price. Luckily Dan wanted to sell me a car this time and worked extremely hard to get us the price we felt was fair. More
I was amazed by how fast Angel Ramos was able to close. I was amazed by how fast Angel Ramos was able to close. His knowledge got us through the close without a hitch even though we ran into a problem of not having my old registration with us. People like that are to me priceless. I tried the air conditioner on Tuesday following the Friday I picked it up and the air conditioning failed to work----------------so much for the vehicle check list. I have an appointment tomorrow Thursday at 8:30 am and I hope they are able to fix the AC without having to order some exotic parts. Gary and Shirley Mahaffy More
My ABS pump motor failed in my Chrysler (almost crashed when this happened!) and it was under recall and qualified for lifetime repairs. The Service manager told me that the ABS system was repaired in 1998 when this happened!) and it was under recall and qualified for lifetime repairs. The Service manager told me that the ABS system was repaired in 1998 so I would have to pay for this repair, which he could not quote the labor, but the part was over $1300.00 plus any other repairs needed to the system. He suggested that I trade the car in for a new one. I explained to him that this part was under "lifetime warranty" according to the recall. He said that I was mistaken and the manufacturer was only required to fix it once. I took my car to Crowley in Bristol where the car was repaired at no charge. Either the service manager at Papa's was a crook or stupid, I am hoping just stupid. Either way I do not want someone like this touching my car. I suggest before having any work done on any car, check for recalls and call the manufacturer at the number listed on the recall for more information. A dishonest dealer could bill you and the manufacturer for the repair, or steal your trade in then fix it on the manufacturers dime. More

Everything was ok until delivery. I left the dealership with a partial cleaned vehicle, missing both headsets for rear entertainment, and to top it off a 1/4 tank of gas. Papa's claims a full tank of gas with a partial cleaned vehicle, missing both headsets for rear entertainment, and to top it off a 1/4 tank of gas. Papa's claims a full tank of gas isn't a "dealership policy." You spend 46k on a new Jeep Cherokee and a full tank of gas isn't policy! WOW! every vehicle I've ever purchased has had a full tank of gas! I guess if $70 is going to break a dealership, then other buyers should shop elsewhere. I called both Gengras and Bolles Jeep in the area, and both confirmed their cars all leave the lot with a full tank! Thanks Papa's you're done selling cars to me! More
I recently purchased a 2011 Jeep Wrangler and I was extremely pleased by the experience at Papa's.
