I can not say enough about how HAPPY I am with the experience I had with Papa Dodge in New Britain CT. I worked with Jeremy in sales. I called him first after seeing a car I was interested in on their experience I had with Papa Dodge in New Britain CT. I worked with Jeremy in sales. I called him first after seeing a car I was interested in on their web page. He was so nice to speak to, very knowledgeable about the car. He was extremely polite and so I scheduled an appt with him that night to see the car. He greeted me right away when I arrived.Jeremy explained everything about the car to me and then we took it out for the test drive. He didn't just have me take it around the block, we took it on the highway because he remembered me mentioning that I do a lot of highway driving, thus I would see how well the car handled on the highway. Jeremy worked with my budget as a single mother and we were able to come to a perfect agreeable price for the car. Jeremy's professional and upbeat attitude were so refreshing. I worked with Jeff in the finance depart. I had already been pre-approved with a loan company, but still Jeff went out of his way to see if he could get me a better interest rate. He didn't have to do this, but he went above and beyond what he had to and did this extra for me. I have been looking for a car for months. I have walked in some dealerships that treated me like I was bothering them. I actually had one roll his eyes at me. My experience at Papa Dodge was the opposite to the extreme. I probably bought one of the more inexpensive vehicles on their lot... yet I was treated as though I paid 100,00 for it. The next day I came in for detailing and was treated to breakfast. wow! I would, and have already, recommend Papa Dodge to anyone who is in the process of looking for a car. They are an exceptional dealership and I WILL go back there again! Thank you to Jeremy and Jeff for the most wonderful purchasing experience ever. God Bless! More
I purchased my 2011 Jeep Liberty in December 2010. The sales experience was great, but I have had horrible experiences with the service department since my purchase. I have been into the service center 8 sales experience was great, but I have had horrible experiences with the service department since my purchase. I have been into the service center 8 times in the first 7 months of owning my new car. My three main issues have been the clock, bluetooth / handsfree device, and the sky slider. After 7 attempts at fixing the clock and bluetooth, they've told me there's nothing more they can do. The service department blames Chrysler and says they can only follow the process that Chrysler prescribes. My 7 attempts could have been cut in half if the people working on my case were competent and cared about the customer. They ordered parts that were not appropriate for my vehicle several times. My most recent and significant issue involves the sky slider roof, which will not open. After 2 full days of having my car, they still have not identified the issue. I've been told that they want to replace to roof, but Chrysler will not allow it. Chrysler wants them to take the roof off and test every part to determine the error. Once tested, those parts will need to be ordered and replaced. My entire roof will have to come off and on several times. This makes me incredibly nervous that my roof will be susceptible to further damage and leaks in the future. In addition, the roof re-assembly will take several days the entire process could go on for months. No one at Papa's can give me a real estimate. They refuse to answer my question directly. I was told 'we're really backed up right now and Chrysler takes a long time to get back to us, so it will be a few weeks just to do the testing.' In the meantime, I'm supposed to go without a car because they won't give me a loaner. This is unacceptable. Why should I buy a brand new car with warranty if they won't fix it? The worst part is that no one at Papa's cares about my situation or is trying to make it right. I will never use them again. I plan to sell my car and am done supporting Chrysler. More

Bought a 2011 Ram 1500 off the lot and proceeded to change everything about it including swapping out the bumpers and repainting portions of the body. Through the two week process I worked with Papa's change everything about it including swapping out the bumpers and repainting portions of the body. Through the two week process I worked with Papa's sales, finance, parts, body shop and lunch counter. Everyone was superb (even if they thought I was insane) and the end product was stunning. I can't imagine there are many dealers in the country let alone CT that would have followed through like these guys. Thanks to John Ward and the entire team. More

This was never resolved and the salesperson is no longer with Papas. That aside,he also sold me a package that was supposed to cover me for free tire and battery replacement over the course of my owning this truck. I now find that in order to get these benefits, I am required to have the trck serviced by Papas, even though I have records of having it serviced regularly elsewhere. I would gladly have it serviced at Papas except I just paid 100.00 for an oil change and tire rotation. This is well over what the norm is in this area for this type service. Most service centers charge on average of 25.00 for an equivlent oil change, and throw in a free tire rotation. At this rate, the saving that I anticipated via the plan benefits are far out weighed by the cost of this service. I dod't mind paying a fair price but again as compared to other service centers in the area, this is far from fair. I though after being a GM customer for almost all my life, that I had found a new dealership I could work with but it appears that this is showing not to be the case. More
I had a scheduled 10:30 oil change which I arrived on time for. I waited at the counter for 5-8 minutes while one guy completed other work he was doing on his computer and the other one was helping a cli time for. I waited at the counter for 5-8 minutes while one guy completed other work he was doing on his computer and the other one was helping a client. I waited in their cozy waiting area for 1 and 1/2 hrs for a scheduled oil change!!!!!!! Not acceptable in my book. I will try a competitor next time as I brought in a coupon I received from another company and they did honor it but I didn't get any coupons from papa's even though they have serviced my car a few times.
