We took our Mazda 3 here to have it's 60k mile check done. We knew a few things would raise there attention but a good test of their service is will they see it and tell us. No they did not. No mention done. We knew a few things would raise there attention but a good test of their service is will they see it and tell us. No they did not. No mention of the battery which could use changing and we've been told this by two other sources, and this was not one. One set of rotors need changing as my other set was replaced a year ago, no mention of this. And my kicker, I changed my oil to synthetic about four years ago and most places ask what type of oil since synthetic is becoming much more common. This place didn't and we failed to let them know (yes we admit failure) the mechanic never noticed and we didn't think about until we got home. I had to return after the holiday to have this changed at my expense because they took no fault. About $200+ later And we got a headache, two oil changes and the coolant flushed (supposedly) do not take your car here!!! More
They promise you anything to buy the car and then don't honor what they promised. The owner does not back his customers either. I have heard horror stories from this place and read the poor reviews. Sho honor what they promised. The owner does not back his customers either. I have heard horror stories from this place and read the poor reviews. Should've known that the ratings are low for a reason but I thought I'd take a chance. I regret buying from these smucks. They are pure liars. Go to Rome for Volkswagons and Syracuse for Mazdas. Do yourself a huge favor because they have changed someone that has been happy with their dealers for 25 years to someone who can't believe they've been taken. More
Bought my vehicle from this dealership on friday March 5, 2010. This was the Second vehicle in a week that I bought from them, giving them a total of over $21,000.00. Sales person bent over backwards for me 2010. This was the Second vehicle in a week that I bought from them, giving them a total of over $21,000.00. Sales person bent over backwards for me to get me into the vehicles and close the deals. The Second car I bought from them I told them when I test drove it that it needed new tires. The day I went to pick up the car they told me it is their policy that if the tires pass inspection they will not put on new tires. The Tires on the second car were ok tread wise, but have SEVERE dry rot. I called them after having my mechanic check the vehicle out, who said, "the car was in GREAT shape except for the tires, they are dry rotted and unsafe and I'm surprised they let them thru an inspection...". After calling them I made an appointment to have the car taken in and have the tires re-evaluated. After they were done looking at the tires, I was told that the tires were fine and and there was ample tread on them, and no dry rot on the side walls. I said "I know there is no dry rot on the side walls it's all in between the tread and across the tread,, they said that "what you are seeing is normal for tires when you drive on them". They refused to work with me to solve the problem and I told them that I Would be back with my Lawyer if I live thru the accident I will get into when one of the tires blows out due to dry rot that they say doesn't exist...I would buy from them again but I would NEVER have them do ANY repairs OR warranty work, and I would walk away from any deal that wasn't what I negotiated. My advice...DON'T GIVE PAOLIZZI THAT CHECK UNTIL YOU LOOK THE CAR OVER COMPLETELY (at delivery), AND EVERYTHING YOU NEGOTIATED IS IN PLACE... More
After buying my Mazda 6 from Paolozzi's the check engine light went on. Upon return for service (which was a 30 minute drive) and going without my car for two days (because they are so slow it's painful) th light went on. Upon return for service (which was a 30 minute drive) and going without my car for two days (because they are so slow it's painful) the only thing they found wrong with the car was that the gas cap was not on tight enough. Now instead of checking the gas cap before they hook the computer up (which they should know to do) they proceeded to do a full check and raised my car on the lift to inspect for other problems (probably so they could find something wrong and charge way too much to fix it). After Paolozzi's charged me $85 to screw on a gas cap, I decided to take my car elsewhere to repair the cracked springs they found (estimated fix $700). DO NOT GO HERE!!! It's worth the drive to travel to Syracuse and find an authentic dealer who knows how to do business! More
The service at this dealership is top shelf. The service contract company was giving me a hard time about covering my warrantied service problems. Paolozzi's Mazda in Marcy bent over backwards to make the contract company was giving me a hard time about covering my warrantied service problems. Paolozzi's Mazda in Marcy bent over backwards to make the company honor their part of the contract. They could have left it up to me to argue it out with the company but they did not. They stepped in and did the right thing. I bought my car new from this dealership and I will buy my next new car from this dealership (thanks to outstanding service!). More
I went to buy a new car, I knew exactly what I wanted. They had what I wanted and we negotiated a price. I signed the contract and left the deposit while they brought the car from another dealer. I get a They had what I wanted and we negotiated a price. I signed the contract and left the deposit while they brought the car from another dealer. I get a call the next morning saying the car was now unavailable since it had been sold to someone else already. Instead of trying to find something comparable and meet their contract, they said I would have to pay more and settle for less extras on the same car (I would no longer get satelite radio, a $400 extra). This other car had something else I didn't want, but I would have to pay for it anyway. Awful awful customer service, I would never do business with them, or recommend you to do so. Needless to say, I went somewhere else. I still don't have the car. More
