Panama City Toyota is a family-owned company that has operated under substantially the same ownership for over 25 years. We have significant ties to the community, and believe it is our obligation to make Bay County—really the entire Florida Panhandle—a better place to live.
Although family has tenure in the community and in the automotive business, the current leadership probably has more experience as an automotive customers than as an automotive operators. Hopefully this causes us to see everything through a “customer lens,” and keeps us from ever forgetting that unfamiliarity can be intimidating. We strive to eliminate that feeling.
An early tagline for the dealership was the recognizable phrase, “Where Relationships are Born.” While this may not always be used in the dealership’s current advertising, the sentiment remains. Here, our team recognizes it’s not about us, but instead it’s about you, the customer. You are the main character of the story and we are here simply to guide you into the perfect vehicle to accomplish your goals.
In addition to the sale of new and outstanding Toyota vehicles, Panama City Toyota also offers high quality pre-owned vehicles. These include not only Toyota certified used vehicles, but also pre-owned vehicles of many other domestic and foreign brands. Overall a very good experience for as busy as they are. The waiting room and breakfast bar is a great touch. I had an appointment at 10 and went in to see my advisor, who asked what I was having done. I th The waiting room and breakfast bar is a great touch. Later he came looking for me because they said the keys were not in the car, which they were. I made sure they were anyway but he came a second time and said they weren’t. I found someone outside and showed him where the keys were-in plain sight on the console. Inside there is a tv screen with customer names and advisors. My name wasn’t listed. After 2 hours I went to inquire on the status of my vehicle and asked a different technician because mine wasn’t there. I was having recall work done and he said that could take from 2 to 4 hours, without looking to see what my recall was for. I waited until my technician came back and to his credit he went back and said it would be about another 20 minutes, which it was. I waited a total of 3 hours. It would have been nice to know that before so I could arrange for transportation. About an hour after I left I get a phone call at home from someone telling me my car is ready? I said thank you. Obviously this dealership has some administrative issues to work out. More
