Brandon, at Palmetto Ford we strive to provide an excellent experience through honest, professional and helpful services and we regret to hear that even after speaking with you, you still feel as though your experience did not meet these standards. We apologize for any confusion regarding the diagnosis. The battery replacement during your first visit was able to be covered under your warranty and therefore had no out of pocket cost. During your second visit it was discovered that a re-flash of the computer program was needed to prevent the battery from dying and unfortunately the extended warranty does not cover this. We are sorry to note you we have not been able to reach an understanding regarding this situation. We are sorry we were not able to correct the issue with your A/C on the first visit. There are instances where it takes time to identify the cause of the problem in order to make the proper repairs, which happened to be the case with your vehicle. While discussing the issue with your A/C, we assure you that trick thermometers were not utilized at any point. We make it one of our top priorities to be honest and transparent with our customers and that tactic would never be tolerated. Our Service Director was only trying to demonstrate that the A/C in a new vehicle would run a little more efficiently than in a vehicle with somewhat higher mileage, and it was not an attempt to persuade you to purchase a new vehicle. We certainly appreciate your business and value you as a customer and hope to have another opportunity to prove to you our dedication to an excellent customer experience.
