I took my vehicle in for service because it had a starting problem (intermittently wouldn't start). They diagnosed it as a bad fuel pump, i had them replace the pump, fuel filter, and clean the fuel starting problem (intermittently wouldn't start). They diagnosed it as a bad fuel pump, i had them replace the pump, fuel filter, and clean the fuel system. took it home, more problems arose. this time it would start and then almost die. took it in again, they diagnosed a bad IAC valve. had them fix it. I had also told them that it had spark knock and thought it may be related to the dieing problem due to a possible vacuum leak. Upon test driving the vehicle the service tech diagnosed the 'knock' as a rod knock and also said that it had a vibration. He recommended a new engine, and could not come up with any other possible alternatives. I had the car towed and got a second opinion. The knock was in fact a spark knock and the vibration were both caused by a clogged fuel injector. One cylinder was not firing at all causing a very rough idle, and there was a bad transmission mount making a metal on metal vibration. Since this shop had just done a fuel system cleaning they resolved the fuel injector at no charge. The other repairs were resolved by the second opinion shop. The car was very much mis-diagnosed and did not in any way need a new engine. More

I recently purchased a 2010 F-150 and had a great buying experience. They had trucks in every color and different packages so I was able to choose what I wanted. I've been shopping sround for a new Fusion for a few months now, I've stopped by all three dealerships in my area several different times and have to say I've been the most displeased with Palmetto. Its months now, I've stopped by all three dealerships in my area several different times and have to say I've been the most displeased with Palmetto. Its definitely the picture of a boys club down there with the "smoker's lounge" you have to walk through to get to the front door, the receptionist who's attire leaves little to the imagination and the over all good ol' boy mentality of the sales staff. I visited this dealership three different times this year and have talked with three different sales people (none of which called me back with the information I asked for) and the last one was the worst. He rushed me through everything and then seemed to get aggressive when I said I needed to thin about it. He practically screams at me, "What's there to think about?". From that moment I knew it was time for me to go and continue my shopping elsewhere. If "Mama" still has anything to do with this dealership, she should be ashamed of her "boys". More
I have dealt with Palmetto Ford for about 3 years now and have bought 2 new cars, both from the same salesperson. An F-150 3 years ago and a 2010 Edge last month (love it!). Both times, I had already researched what I wanted online as far as packages and colors etc., before going to the dealership. Kelvin treats me like a friend when I go in, on the Edge, he had to get it from another dealership because they did not have one in stock. They originally wanted me to factory order, but were then able to find one locally for me. Once we negotiated, I feel I got a fair deal. They always call me after going there to make sure everything is ok. More
