In short, the general consensus of negativity on the reputation of this place have been validated. I realize that you should never seek service for your car at a dealership, but a need to get the job right persuaded my wife to take her car there. Without going into details of the THOUSANDS of dollars spent that still leave a minor issue unresolved, they clearly do not stand behind their work, and take advantage of people (evidenced by a $160 bill to re-diagnose an issue that was improperly diagnosed earlier). The latest estimate at over $1,000 is over DOUBLE the cost at ANOTHER FORD DEALERSHIP. A true lack of integrity and customer loyalty make this a truly awful place to have your vehicle serviced. I'm a huge advocate of Ford, their vehicles, and the service we've received at other Ford dealers, but when I read the Ford corporate values of "Customers are the focus of everything we do" and "Integrity is never compromised", I'm dumbfounded at how an organization like Palmetto Ford is allowed to bear the revered Ford logo.
