On the advice of Rob, the service manager at Triple A, I took my F150 to Palmetto Ford where I met Allen Oltmann, the service advisor. I told him the story about my F 150, which only had 17,000 miles on it took my F150 to Palmetto Ford where I met Allen Oltmann, the service advisor. I told him the story about my F 150, which only had 17,000 miles on it since 2020, and had an oil leak. I also told him that the AAA service manager advised me to take it to Ford as the power train was still under warrantee. That saved me $1,300.00 because Allen had Palmetto Ford honor the warrantee. When I got to Ford and asked Allen how long it would take, he said "one week." I had to figure out where to rent a vehicle. Later that same day, Allen called me and said that he had the technician, who would be working on my pickup, would have it finished in one day. And so, I had no out of pocket expense for the repair and lost no time by having Allen and the technician work on getting my pickup repaired in one day. More
Had my card towed in to Palmetto Ford on Friday and my extended warranty ran out on Saturday before the car could be looked at. Repairs came out to $687. I went to Palmetto Ford for an oil change and was assisted by Gregory Engert in the service department. I purchased additional recommended services for my car's milage including flushing and replenis assisted by Gregory Engert in the service department. Shortly after, my engine light went off due to there being little to no oil left in my car. While replacing the oil, the mechanic mentioned that my coolant level was very low. A different Ford Dealership confirmed that there was no way they could have completed the service and even called to verify that I had purchased it. Palmetto Ford charged me hundreds of dollars for services they did not complete and refused to rectify the situation. Save your money and your car and do not come to this dealership. More

One of the co-workers Sharon actually hung up on me after I said I would hold, and then she has never called me back either. I guess they truly don't care. More

If I could give a ZERO STAR rating I would. This service department is shady. Refuse to fix an issue that wasn't there before. We had always been fond of our car - we took it to the dealership to have recall work done. After it was returned we can not get the lug nuts off the car to do any additional service needed. The manager Travis will not call me back and Joe who we worked with was both condescending and rude - blaming us and the fact that we live in Charleston along with the fact the car has "100,000 miles on it". We want nothing more then for them to replace our lug nuts and they will not do it. Very sad that this is what Palmetto Ford thinks is acceptable behavior. Have tried to get service at this dealer for a check engine light and oil change with the same result. Check engine light would require to leave my vehicle for a week. I scheduled a service appointment for my truck and the soonest I could get was about two weeks out. I show up on that day and they tell me I'll have to leave my vehicle and wait a few more weeks for them soonest I could get was about two weeks out. No idea why they schedule appointments if they can't get to your vehicle for weeks. Had to leave and find another dealership. Then I received an email saying I didn't show up. This place is a mess.
