My husband explained to Shawn exactly what I was looking for. We went to see him and he had the car waiting for us in the service bay so we would not have to go outside to look at it. Long story short... Shawn took such good care of me in my car purchase that he is the one I will refer to anyone looking for a car purchase. I am 83 years old and bought my last car July 2001,which I intended to trade in for a newer used car. We visited 4 dealers in Kenosha and Racine and considered 2 other deals, but did not complete after salesman and his manager talked to us with their offer. We just didn't feel comfortable--like the sale wasn't that big a deal and the trade-in value was much lower than expected for our 1 owner, only 57000 miles, 2002 car..WE returned to Palmen Motors where Richard Smith had impressed us with a genuine take-your-time, I'm hereto help you .get something to make you happy feeling on our initial visit -he had found a car we might be interested in--and it was. After we took it for a test drive and went home for lunch, .A huge snow storm began so we returned slowly back to Palmen.It was a difficult weather day and Richard was just finishing with another customer,but we were treated to refreshments and didn't mind the wait. When the final offer was made, it was more than I could manage, but we really liked the car and Richard made several trips to see if we could work it out. We hit a compromise that I could handle and we were very happy. Additionally because of the heavy snowfall and our difficulty driving under the conditions, he offered us a ride home with a cohort following to take him back. We told them the EXACT model we wanted (wasn't on their lot) and they had it brought in. Joe (the finance guy) got us a great interest rate for the loan. He made the paperwork a breeze and there was NO PRESSURE. The support from the staff to help make the process of buying our new Jeep was evident; they were on top of everything and kept the flow going. This is the first time that I've ever had a pleasant experience buying a car from start to finish. Knowing that I can call on Shawn to help me out with anything I need in the future really makes me want to bring ALL my business there. More
Driving from Chicago to Kenosha for any car may seem odd, but it was well worth the trip. We were treated as friends more so than customers. We started out looking for a used vehicle and ended up purchasin but it was well worth the trip. We were treated as friends more so than customers. We started out looking for a used vehicle and ended up purchasing a new one. Ray went out of his way trying to help, knowing that our initial request was a used vehicle. After he checked all avenues to try and fulfill our request it was determined that we would be better satisfied with new. Now that a new path was chosen, Ray's eagerness was not diminished. Several days after the purchase we remembered that the city sticker was inadvertently left on the trade in. A call to Ray resulted in the sticker being removed and in my possession within 48 hours of the request. I think you would agree that price is very important, but being treated with respect is just as important. From start to finish the experience was pleasant and everyone involved with the process left us with the feeling they cared. More

I'm 66 years old and I've purchased at least 100 cars in my time. Normally I hate salesmen, but when I met Bob, that all went away. Bob is one of the most honest and caring salesman I've ever dealt with. He bends over backwards to keep his customers happy. I've been back to the dealership several times since I/we purchased our vehicles. Bob says "call me first whenever you have a problem or a question with your purchase". I've never had a salesman ever say that to me, never. Bob even gave us his personal "cell phone" number so we get a hold him 24/7 should a problem arise. Bob is most definitely the most caring/professional salesmen we've ever known. Bob's not only my/our salesman, he's our friend. Both my daughter and myself will most certainly be back again. We've already told a few of our friends about our experience at Palmen. As a matter of fact, the Chrysler 300 that I just traded in today at Palmen may be purchased on Monday by a personal friend of mine whom I told all about all the people at Palmen. As far as Ted Hendrix, Doug Jackson, Paul Parise, Sandra Sarwin, Chris Lecount, and Joe Leonard goes, they all had a big part in making us feel at home. No pressure at all, and they help make our visits fun. We're from Racine and we know there's a "Palmen Chrysler" dealership in Racine and we also know we could get our cars serviced there, but when we go to "Palmen Chrysler" in Kenosha, we feel very much at home at the Kenosha dealership. We have fun with the guys there. They all seem to know when we're coming in and they go out of their way to say hi. Best of all, Andy Palmen actually came out on the floor and talked with us about out purchases. We've met him several times. It's just a real pleasure going to Palmen in Kenosha. More

Save yourself heartache and lots of money and go to a dealer that are happy to get your business. Of this happened to us and we were buying 2 cars in one week think about how bad your service would be getting only one new car. I have owned/operated many Chrysler/Dodge vehicles and have had them serviced at the Palmen Motors Service on 75th Street Kenosha, and Have been completely satisfied with their service. I have been listened to, I have been called in regards to the problems they have found, I have been kept informed of the progress of each repair. It is not the service that is bad but the quality of my 2009 Town and Country that drove me to my new Dodge Grand Caravan. If I have a concern at any time all I have to do is call the Service Dept and am told to bring it in. I feel confident that the staff are knowledgeable regarding any problems that may occur. It is very seldom that one hears good things about the service, many people are eager to report bad service or problems.
