I was 500 miles from home on a business trip to Racine. While driving, I experienced a brake line leak. I used 4 bottles of fluid before arriving at the service center. It was the end of the day and the service manager was able get me in the next morning. I was disappointed the manager felt I didn’t know what I was talking about and speculated on a host of problems that might possible. I felt he was adding unnecessary items to my bill. I was disappointed the dealership didn’t stock or could make a simple brake line. This cost me an additional day without a vehicle. Another day at the hotel and postponed my business meeting. I understand a service manager job is busy and can be stressful. Nevertheless, the service manager did not offer any information unless I approached him. The brakes were still soft and faded when I got it back. It was enough to get home, but will need work to get a solid pedal. More
Called on the phone to see if I could have a test done with my jeep. They said they can do that. Went to drop off my jeep. We agreed with what was going to be tested on my jeep and how. I even signed the paper with the test description that we agreed on. Received a phone call the next day saying they found the “problem” and did not preform the test. When I asked why the answer I received was they did not have the required set/material to do that test. So I go to pick my jeep up and when I asked why they didn’t do what they said they would they now answered with “it wasn’t necessary”. Well no matter which one was the truth or lie the fact is it wasn’t done. When a customer wants to have something done and you say you can do that..... DO IT. Waste of my MONEY and TIME. No refund or price drop. The guys there couldn’t care less. This is the second time Palmen jeep let me down. I like my Jeep’s but not enough to go back there. More
