He verified that it was still on the lot, since I live an hour and 1/2 away, and we made an appointment to test drive. When I arrived Cesar was helpful and no pressure on buying the car. We negotiated a price and I drove away with my new (used) car. It's too bad I live so far, otherwise I would be going to them to service the car. More

Then we moved to San Luis Obispo county and tried the dealership there, twice. They were awful. Always trying to up sell me something I didn't need. So we drove 5 hours to go back to Palm Springs for the 100,000 service. We were so greatful that we did. Sarah was wonderful. I would go back there every time, especially for something big. More
Stay away by all means I was treated so poorly at this dealership its a shame. I was lied to by salesperson A, was told car was in service and not available to test drive. I was treated so poorly at this dealership its a shame. I was lied to by salesperson A, was told car was in service and not available to test drive. Sales person 2 calls and tells me no sense come on in its available. Made appointment and drove 2 hours. Was promised they d hold the car. My appointment was not honored by salesperson G. and sales manager (tiny man with glasses) They sold it while i was test driving it. I was told sorry guess i should have left it in the back till you got here. Well think!!!! Was left standing in the lot no offer to sort things out or make things right for me. No offer to show me any other cars! Did not recieve my 25 dollar gift card as promised online! Called customer service a day later and complained. They said they ll get back to me, of course they did NOT! I believe they are age biased like other reviewers stated. If you are young and female stay away by all means! More

We settled the deal in less than an hour, but had to wait for someone to fill out the financial documents. Then the car washers weren't there and the salesman did what he could to clean the car. They neglected to give us the financial documents and got our mailing address wrong. It is a 100 mile drive from our house to the dealership where they were the only dealer to have the vehicle we wanted. You decide how you would rate that event. Incidentally, I have to pay $20 to have the correct address on the registration. More

Bottom of the barrel Dealership DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THIS DEALERSHIP! WORST EVER!I brought my new car into the dealership for it's second oil change. Car was only about a year ol DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THIS DEALERSHIP! WORST EVER!I brought my new car into the dealership for it's second oil change. Car was only about a year old. Two weeks later, the car died on me in middle of the road and had to be towed into the dealership (with only about 13,000 miles on it). Service dept. later revealed to me (after not calling me back for about a week)that engine (and "related components") was ruined and had to be replaced. They said the drain plug was missing - it had either not been replaced at the previous oil change or was not tightened adequately. Dealership pussyfooted around, declined to be proactive in ensuring customer satisfaction, failed to provide requested documentation, tried to undervalue my car and lied to me, broke appointments, made it very clear they were only going to do the absolute bare minimum as required by law (if even that) and made me fight and increased my stress every step of the way even though they, through gross negligence, destroyed my car. I had to open a case with Subaru of America (corporate) but they proved to only provide good lip service and seemed to be on the dealership's side and not on the customer's side. Every printed piece of literature and information found on the website (or any information found ANYWHERE) says that you have "added security" and ensure optimal functioning of your car if you take it into the dealership to let the "factory-trained technicians" service your car. HA! The exact opposite was true for me - the dealership destroyed my car. To add further insult to injury, they did not step up to make things right and they were very cavalier, nonchalant about it with sales manager saying "well, accidents happen. it's not gross negligence". Subaru of America (corporate) was fighting hard to be on the dealership's side and acted like I just needed to suck it up and not make a big deal about it. Palm Springs Subaru has TERRIBLE customer service and their technicians ruined my car and they act like they can just get away with it. Something must be done to effect some positive change so this does not happen to other customers. More
Customer service sucks I sold my 2015 Outback and worked with Palm Springs subaru to purchase a new 2017 Outback limited 3.6R. They picked me up, drove to the dealership an I sold my 2015 Outback and worked with Palm Springs subaru to purchase a new 2017 Outback limited 3.6R. They picked me up, drove to the dealership and the new car had nearly 400 miles on it and three door dings. This would have been my third purchase since 2012. They actually told me to go to another dealer as they had none in stock. They also left me stranded at the dealer with my epileptic dog with no ride home and no offer either. I ended up driving to orange coast subaru where they know about good customer service. Just to add, Larry the general manager, asked the service rep why I was still there. After he was advised I had no ride home, he walked away. Next...this gets even better..... What's on my mind? A LOT! So, my new Subaru had a cracked windshield for no reason. After a bit of haggling, subaru of America replaced it at their cost. They should as the car only had 1200 miles on it. As it was being replaced at Palm Springs Subaru, they asked if they could keep the car an additional day or two as they have to clear out the showroom to recalibrate the eyesight system and they had two other cars to complete the same work. No,problem. During the extra stay, we had a massive windstorm. I received my car back with a new pitted windshield and pitted side windows. I asked them to fix it and Larry the GM said, act of God. Subaru of America was advised and after nearly two weeks, they want me to pay 250.00 to replace the windshield and they will not even address the side windows. Three Subaru's since 2012 and this will be the last. I do not tolerate poor customer service and neither should you. Be aware of Subaru especially Subaru of Palm Springs! More
