We arrived in my daily driver Summary: The 'right' way to sell a top-end car. My wife and I arrive at Palm Springs Hyundai on a Saturday afternoon. We arrived in my daily driver - a Mercedes S55 AMG - which may have put some salespeople off but Steve Allen came out and greeted us. Steve was very professional and "no stress," which is key when offering a top-end car. Steve asked brought us out - initially it was the Equus. After a test drive, we realized that wasn't the car for us, and he showed us the G90, and after a test drive, we found the G90 was quite comparable to the S55 in power and ride, but with more gadgets. I was interested in the 5.0 option with either the Patagonia Blue or Manhattan Brown exteriors, both of which are in very limited supply and neither of which was available at the site in the G90, so they arranged to have one brought over from a dealership about two hours away. After viewing and driving the car, Steve and Todd (the GSM) were very helpful with the various options re: financing and add-ons, and we decided to buy the car, keeping the S55 as my "daily driver." The moral of the story? When offering a 'flagship' car to a customer who is already driving a 'flagship' car, the best thing to do is step back and let the car sell itself. Steve did a fine job of that. More

The Hunter Family Survey I expressed to Garrett Whitaker the vehicle I desired. I requested an AWD vehicle which is I presume, to be in short supply. He got it done. The vehicle was cleaned, full of gas and ready on our arrival. Ken Albert, the finance manager did a great job in explaining the additional warranty and/or maintenance packages available to me, and I purchased a maintenance package. My expectations were exceeded. More
