I did not have an appointment for an oil change, I drove up, and was immediately waited on. The service member took my information and my vehicle was ready in less than an hour. Let me say I'm not impressed with Palm Coast Ford. I had an issue with my F350 not starting and had it towed in. It had been sitting for a number of months at the time. It wouldn't fire. I was told it fired an issue with my F350 not starting and had it towed in. It had been sitting for a number of months at the time. It wouldn't fire. I was told it fired right up for the mechanic, no problems. Couldn't tell me what was wrong with it. So I had them do an oil change while it was there. I am told they also do a so many point inspection on the vehicle during this work. Check the air pressure in the tires, clean the air filter, top off fluids etc. I received a phone call telling me my truck was done and to come get it. When I showed there was a small plastic bag in the cab with hardware that was from my drivers running board. I asked the service guy what happened. I was told the tech must have forgot to put them back and that he would finish it for me. I call BS! He didn't forget to finish it if he thought enough to put the bolts in a bag. I didn't have the time and told him to forget it. On the way home, I noticed the truck was going down the road loudly and roughly and there was a whining sound that got worse as I drove home. More than usual. Barely making it home, the truck was smoking from under the hood and had a unpleasant smell. I lifted the hood and found my power steering pump cap was missing and the fluid had sprayed all over, hence the whining and smell. I checked the tire pressure. All 6 tires were low, around 20-25 LBS each, as I said, sitting for months. I called the service guy back and told him. He said to bring the truck back and he would fix it. In order to drive it back, I would have had to fix the items wrong myself before I could drive it. Already had it towed in once, wasn't hitting my insurance again for their mistakes. Refund, discount or towing back was not offered from them. Why would I bring it back?? Not sure If the service guy realized or cared about my time? I, like most others have a tight schedule and have a life. My life isn't based around waiting for my vehicle to be fixed/repaired two and three times for the same issue due to a technicians lack of attention or ability. So for the cost of my service, I believe $300.00 and change, I supply the oil when I have it done, I basically had the oil drained and refilled. Nothing else. I have not called or returned to the dealership since due to these reasons. I asked to be taken off their mailing list. I, and my family will not be back! Do not waste your time and hard earned money at this dealership! They are a joke!! More
They gave me a price >$8,000 to repair my sunroof.. I got a price from a well recognized body shop at one fifth the cost. While waiting for a ride a used car salesman came out to talk. I am usually very happy with the service department. This trip to the service department was due to a previous trip the week before. Low stars are because I took my truck in for an oil change, when I picked trip to the service department was due to a previous trip the week before. Low stars are because I took my truck in for an oil change, when I picked up my truck they said the tires "needed" to be rotated which they "said" they did and charged me for it. After getting home and checking my tire pressure and tread depth it appears they did not rotate my tires. My oil change sticker did not appear to have been replaced either so I could not be sure they changed the oil either. After talking to the service department I took my truck back to redo everything from the previous trip for service. More
