After work was completed it was found that shifter linkage was broken. Service manager had car pushed to service bay and made repair. The people made the repair in record time. Hands down the worst experience I’ve ever had at a dealership. While trying to negotiate for a used vehicle, my husband asked if they offered any incentives for veterans (because it was advertised on dealership. While trying to negotiate for a used vehicle, my husband asked if they offered any incentives for veterans (because it was advertised on their TV screen right above us) and our salesman Chris told him “yeah, there’s a war in Ukraine you can go fight”. Then we mentioned there was a large scratch on the vehicle and Chris picked up a sharpie from his desk and offered to go color over it if it got us to buy the car. So unprofessional. I came back the next day to buy the car after we agreed on a deal. Chris and the team knew the car I was trading in had check engine lights on it because I needed 2 wheel speed sensor caps. I told them this before I traded in the car so they were aware. While I was in Jeff’s office signing for the car, a mechanic bursts through the door and orders Jeff to stop the transaction because I “lied” about check engine lights. I explained that we discussed it prior and it was just a sensor cap. Afterwards a manager I presume (who’s name I never got. Dark hair, facial hair) came into Jeff’s office and told me they are cancelling the sale and not taking my vehicle because there’s so much wrong with it that their computer can’t read it. BS. He then tells me he “cannot believe I’m riding around with my baby in the backseat of an unsafe car” and that he’s “scared for me and my baby” and warns me that my car brakes are going to lock up with my baby in the car. I don’t know what kind of tactic or BS this was but to shame/guilt a parent like this is beyond inexcusable. I left Palm Chevy in my car and took it straight to Jenkins Hyundai where they were able to read my car immediately and fixed 2 wheel speed sensor caps for $110.52. Exactly what I told Palm Chevy. I ended up trading in my perfectly fine car to Hyundai and purchased a new vehicle from them instead and had an amazing experience. I didnt even end up paying the $110.52 because it was so minor. Stay FAR away from these people and take your money elsewhere. More

I was taken advantage of and no one seem to care about my situation. I purchased a preowned Cadillac Escalade on March 11, 2022. At the time of the purchase I advised my sales rep Juan A Martell that the vehicle was a little shaky. The purchase was made on a Friday. And I was leaving out of town for the weekend. I then came back the following Monday to solve the issues for my new purchase on march 14, 2022. I was advised that I needed to make an appointment for the following day March 15, 2022. I arrive to my appointment and I did advise them that the vehicle has been like that since the day of the purchase on Friday. While driving the vehicle on the highway the vehicle was shake consistently. I was advised by the service department that they found no issues with the vehicle. If they do not find a code when doing a diagnose then there’s nothing to repair. I left out of town again and the vehicle continued to have issues. I was by myself as a person. And they immediately tried for me to purchase another vehicle and use that vehicle as a trade-in. I do not recommend anyone to ever spend any money at this dealership. Finally after several days back-and-forth I did advise them that I was not happy with the vehicle due to the mechanical issues from the date of the purchase. I purchased this vehicle for a total of $72,464.31 on March 11, 2022. Finally on March 22, 2022 I advise my sales person I no longer wanted the vehicle in that condition. I was advised that the only thing they were able to do is to purchase a vehicle back from me at a wholesale price. At only 11 days later they purchased a vehicle back from me for $63,000. which I lost a total of $9464.31 and simply 11 days due to a vehicle that was sold to me with mechanical problems. I would have figured that such a large dealership would have helped me as a paying customer. They showed no interest to assist me with my concern. I have submitted a complaint with the BBB this afternoon. They have taken advantage of me and Several other customers as well. Again beware and do not do business with this dealership! They are only out to swindle you for the most money they can and will make it a problem if you decide not to do business with them! This has called me an extreme amount of depression to lose this amount of money simply because I chose to shop at the wrong dealership. Remember do not trust a handshake at Palm Chevrolet! In one word nightmare. I am so very disappointed and dissatisfied with this dealership and their ever changing stories. We loved our new Nissan so much we bought a second one in 2 weeks. Thanks Palm Chevy for being such BS artist for a full year. Now I’m very happy. Just an FYI for the consumer. DO NOT trust the finance person when they list things covered under the extra warranty. For example a lost key fob. Nope, cost me $400 for a new one. Rims losing paint, nope not covered. These two examples are the ones they specifically mentioned would be covered! No longer give loaners, make you wait hours just to find out you will have to come back. More
