Experience was good, however nothing special - I have bought multiple new cars and it was a pretty standard transaction - I did not like that the loan rate was held to the very end and over 7% - I comple bought multiple new cars and it was a pretty standard transaction - I did not like that the loan rate was held to the very end and over 7% - I completely understand Chevrolet does not make the rates but please be more up front and honest on the rates - I asked multiple times and was told not to worry as my credit score was over 800 but did not like that it was held towards the end and that I was told to move my insurance over and everything to the new car first before we even got to the finance office where I was ready to walk out and reverse everything - YOUR SO LUCKY THAT I GOT LUCKY WITH AWESOME PARENTS!!! Went in for an oil change that is covered under my Service Plan. Going to take 1.5 hours, says my Service Writer. OK, will wait. He comes out after about about 40 minutes and states that a Helix inser Service Plan. Going to take 1.5 hours, says my Service Writer. OK, will wait. He comes out after about about 40 minutes and states that a Helix insert has come out of the oil plug treads and the previous location that changed the oil stripped out the plug. His solution is to replace the oil pan for a total of $1818.37. And he suggested that I call the location that performed that last oil change to see if they will cover the repair. Long story shorter, Palm Chevrolet was the last location. I ask what is going to happen next, he states that the repair will commence, and it will take 4 hours to complete. I leave to try and donate blood at One Blood. Get a text about 30 minutes later: car is ready. ??? I call, leave msg. He calls back, they "repaired my vehicle by putting a larger plug into the car, and the $34 dollars that it costs will be covered by the Dealer. Try to talk to the Service Manager, he is too busy to talk, but the message to me is that they will replace the Oil pan if I pay the cost of the parts ($351). The Service Writer is only the messenger, so this is NOT on him. But the Service Manager position (Ollie was filling in) did not respond appropriately to the situation that was caused by their technician apparently damaging car, did an unapproved repair by inserting a Helix, and then putting it on the owner to cover the cost of the parts to do the repair as it should have been done in the first place. I will be looking for another location to perform my oil changes, and this location will DAMAGE your vehicle and not tell you, then let you pay for the repair. More
