I've been buying new cars for over 45 years and this has to be my favorite experience ever. I did my homework and knew exactly what I wanted and what a fair price would be for the new Equinox and the t to be my favorite experience ever. I did my homework and knew exactly what I wanted and what a fair price would be for the new Equinox and the trade allowance for my Honda. I had purchased three other new vehicles from Palm Chevrolet in the past twenty years and was always fairly pleased with the dealership. But, this was my first visit since they changed their sales phylosophy to what it is now. I talked to Mike and he located the perfect car, except for the colors my wife wanted and she wasn't with me, and he had my Honda appraised. The appraiser was very professional and courteous too! Anyway, I knew I could probably take their price and use it as a 'hunting license' to get a little better deal someplace else. But, it would mean having to run the gauntlett and play the silly games and I just don't like doing that. When I left the dealership I'm sure that Mike didn't think he'd see me again but I managed to get my wife on the phone (she was out of town) and she found the car with her smart phone and said she liked the color fine. I called Mike, and to just verify that the price was firm, asked if they could discount a trailer hitch to make the deal. I smiled when he explained that, if he did, it would mean that he'd lied to other customers and just couldn't do that! So, I went right back and made the deal! Good job Mike and also your managers!
