I worked with Chris on buying a new Mazda3. Walked in to the dealership and met him on a Wednesday, discussed some details and pricing over email on thurs/fri, and bought the car on Saturday. I webt to purchase a specific car. We talked about it for five days on the phone after I looked at it. We were working out our financing options. I recieved a call stating everything was good to go come down we worked it out. After i drove an hour and a half i get there and they tried to put me in a car i never mentioned or even knew about. While i was there they pawned me off on several people and had me waiting for over an hour. They are not professional and they are liars and decietful. I will never return there for anything. STAY AWAY!!!!!! More
Saw a Mazda CX-5 on showroom floor Friday 9/28/12 while I was in the Volvo service department. Liked the car, and returned next day with my wife. Mike the salesmangave us a test drive. However, instead of giving us the selling price of the car we inquired about, Mike asked repeatedly for us to make an offer on the car we test drove, not on the car we were interested in. Also, he would not provide a trade value on the car I wanted to trade. He did speak with someone who I think is called general manager and also a business manager named John. The general manager was kind enough to point out that he was working on two other deals (like I care), even though I had been sitting at Mike's desk for at least 30 minutes. I then spoke with John and Mike outside, at which time John stated he would call me back with a price. As of now, he has not done so. So as of now, no one one at Palisades Mazda has provided me with a selling price for the car I was interested in, the car I rest drove, or any other car they have available for sale! I guess they are waiting for me to make an offer. They can keep waiting. Other complaints - Mazda has incentives that expire 10/1, but not one of these three individuals informed me that offers were available, and that they were expiring. Maybe they are waiting for me to tell them about these. Also, I use Mike, John, and General Manager because not one of these Mazda representatives had the courtesy to give me a business card. My experience last weekend at Palisades Mazda is sad, because I had purchased a 2004 Volvo from Palisades and have used their service department repeatedly over the years. Always with 100% satisfaction. But because of these three, I will not do future business with Palisades Mazda, or any other dealership within the Palisades auto group. Mike, John and General Manager - the offer I made Staurday stands $0.39 (that's 39 cents). As they say - Ask a stupid question .... More

My wife and I went to check out a Mazda 3 hatchback. I've been researching cars for weeks and took a few test drives in different models. I always came back to Mazda because the 3 was fun to drive. So, with the Mazda special going on (no payment for 90 days and 0% financing) we went to Palisades Mazda. Our sales person was Mike. First, it was very hot outside when we went to check out a Mazda 3. Mike drove us to their other lot and they had a model I was interested in. A touring manual shift. It was silver. Mike pulled the car out for us to get ready for a test drive and I was pleasantly surprised when he went through all the features of the car. Mind you , it was hot out and I was just expecting to get in the car and go for a test drive just like the other previous test drive I took in different models. Mike popped the hood and went over the new Skyactive engine and safety crumble zones of the car in case of an accident, and the complete exterior of the car. He didn't have us outside for long when he asked my wife and I to sit in the car with the air conditioning on so we were cool and comfortable. But he stood outside explaining all the features and safety advantages of the interior for several minutes. I felt a bit sorry for him because of the uncomfortable weather. But he took his time and went through everything. He even asked us if we had any questions which we did, and he answered them with precise knowledge about the car. I never experienced this type of customer service from the other dealerships we visited. Then the fun began, we took it for a test drive and loved the car. Mike was one of the friendliest sales people we met. During the test drive, we had a few laughs and talked about sports. We immediately liked him. He wasn't pushy or uncomfortable to be around like the other sales people we experienced. Believe me, that's very important to us. Besides liking the car, the positive attitude and knowledge that Mike had played a big part in our decision making. He was very friendly and very professional. We got a good deal and I purchased the car. I highly recommend Palisades Mazda… and Mike! Update: Picked up my Mazda this past Saturday. Mike once again went throughout the car with me. He even connected my phone to the cars bluetooth hand free phone for me. I'm glad I decided on the Mazda 3 and also for purchasing the car from a dealer that is top notch in customer service and that provides a no-pressure buying experience. Also John in finance was polite and professional. More
