Their mechanic did a thorough inspection but they also allowed me to take it to my mechanic for a piece of mind. My salesman, Deonta Coleman, made my experience amazing and went above and beyond. Remarkably poor experience with rude sales manager I live over an hour from this dealership, so I spent quite a bit of time dealing with a salesman over the phone while explaining exactly what I would I live over an hour from this dealership, so I spent quite a bit of time dealing with a salesman over the phone while explaining exactly what I would (and would not) consider in terms of a purchase and my trade-in value. I revealed all of the issues over the phone and even sent 17 high-res photos of the vehicle which showed every flaw in great detail. My trade-in was old, so I wanted to be sure they knew exactly what condition it was in. I no more wanted to waste the dealership's time than I wanted them to waste my own. With that information, I told them what my bottom line price was for my trade-in and also made clear that I was not interested in a "low-ball" offer. I was assured that, while they understandably couldn't guarantee a trade offer without seeing the vehicle, they would be able to get to my minimum, or at least very close. So, I drove over an hour to the dealership and let them take my car for a "test drive" and inspection. The offer I was given was insultingly low and nowhere near what I told them - up front - was well below what was worth my time. To top everything off, the sales manager became aggressively rude when I took my keys back and left. This dealership is obviously more interested in playing the classic "used car sales" games and not at all interested in customer service or honesty. I will never consider this dealer again and highly recommend avoiding them. More

Was the service ever completed? I am extremely frustrated! I own a 1999 Toyota Tacoma, and just discovered the vehicle is unsafe to operate due to excessive rust and corrosion of th I am extremely frustrated! I own a 1999 Toyota Tacoma, and just discovered the vehicle is unsafe to operate due to excessive rust and corrosion of the frame. What is so upsetting is that this is my 16 year old daughter's vehicle - and I only became aware of the corrosion when I asked a service technician to check out the Exhaust System. The vehicle, in 2011, as a result of the Extended Warranty for inappropriate corrosion resistance, was taken into a local Toyota Dealer (Page Toyota - Southfield MI). At that time, we were advised that there were no corrosion issues, therefore they would merely be applying a corrosion resistance application. Here we are six years later and the frame is completely rusted out. The vehicle has just under 200,000 miles on it (which is nothing for a Toyota - capable of so much more), but is now unsafe to operate without a new frame! I contacted Page Toyota, who advised that they would investigate. I did not hear back as of yet, so I contacted the 800-331-4331 number referenced by another. I am told, sorry, it is outside the 15 year warranty period, there is nothing we can do! So, had I brought it in after 15 years of use, in 2014 (instead of 2011), would I again have been told there was no corrosion? If I purchased a car, that did not have any rust/corrosion issue 6 years ago, I would be livid that it was completely rusted out in 6 years... UNACCEPTABLE! I have to believe that one of two things occurred... (1) PAGE TOYOTA of Southfield MI lied about the condition of the vehicle at the time of the inspection OR (2) PAGE TOYOTA did not properly spray for corrosion on my non-corroded vehicle as indicated! EITHER WAY, I WILL TAKE MY BUSINESS ELSEWHERE TO ANOTHER AUTO MAKER!!! More
