George and Aaron were fantastic. They were friendly, accommodating, and easy to work with. The pricing was fair, and even though the car I wanted wasn't on the lot they had it shipped to the dealership accommodating, and easy to work with. The pricing was fair, and even though the car I wanted wasn't on the lot they had it shipped to the dealership within 24 hours. After having a particularly bad experience at another dealership, it was a relief to finally have a good experience and deal with salesmen who were straightforward. I would definitely recommend this dealership to anyone who is interested in buying a VW. No one wants to deal with manipulation or intimidation when buying a car so this is definitely the place to go to AVOID this situation! More
Nancy went above and beyond to help me get into the car I wanted. She's engaging, not high pressure, respectful of the customers time and very helpful. Ditto with Ty Woods (actually the first finance guy in my history of over 20 new car purchases that I didn't end up wanting to slug him). I would not hesitate an instant to send my friends and clients in to see the Nancy and Ty team. Amir, on the other hand . . . don't get me started. Let's just say that Amir was so unprofessional originally that I walked out, vowing to never step foot in Pacific VW again and making sure I told everyone I knew what an underhanded dealership it was. If it hadn't been for Nancy, I would have never stepped foot in the dealership again. Why does Amir work there? Is it his job to be rude to customers and pull "bait and switch" on them? If he is going to refuse to honor the internet pricing programs the dealership belongs to, why do you subscribe to them? Is making customers angry the idea behind it? It doesn't seem like a good business model to me. More
I had promised that I would write a review of Pacific Volkswagen after my 90-day service visit, so I'm doing that now-- it's quite a bit after the 90-day mark and you'll see why. I had two issues with Volkswagen after my 90-day service visit, so I'm doing that now-- it's quite a bit after the 90-day mark and you'll see why. I had two issues with the vehicle itself-- one minor, one pretty major. This isn't a review of the car, obviously, so I will leave those aside. The minor issue was small enough for me to wait until the 90-day visit and the major issue happened pretty close to the 90-day mark, so I brought it in on-schedule. I give these guys high marks all the way around-- the service visit aside, since my initial purchase, I got the appropriate follow-up calls from the sales associate (George Dunbar) and he was also able to give me info on a feature or two that I didn't know how to operate. In the case of this visit, there were only a couple of things that I "dinged" them for off of a perfect score. The major problem I had was a hidden leak in the passenger compartment that allowed rainwater to sneak in behind the dash and directly onto the driver's side floor. With the amount of rain we were having, this was pooling up under my feet (saturating the carpet and padding underneath) and leaving the inside of the car humid like a steam bath (making morning frost and condensation that much worse). I gave the overall experience a 4 just because of how long it took to get resolved. I understand that the issue itself is a manufacturer thing and not the dealer, but I have to put my understanding aside and just look at it from just the customer experience perspective. In fact, they were fantastic in dealing with me, though with everything involved, it took 19 days in the shop to get it fixed (and there was a LOT of work involved). During that time, I was provided with a loaner from an on-site Enterprise rental stand-- unfortunately, the only vehicles they had that day were large Nissan Frontier pickups (hardly the more fuel-conscious VW). They were great about keeping in touch with me to let me know what was going on-- and it was an awful process-- the entire interior had to be removed from the vehicle, VW themselves had to be consulted, all of the carpet and padding was replaced (along with the center console for the minor issue-- the cupholder broke). All-in-all it was about $2,300 worth of work covered under warranty, plus the 19 days on the rental vehicle (which they also paid for). Would have been a 5 if it hadn't taken so long. The Quality of Work takes a ding for a minor issue-- all of the stuff related to the replaced carpet, padding, center console, etc. is was great, fine, etc. The one issue I discovered driving home was that none of the Bluetooth features were working-- the buttons related to the phone did not respond at all, no matter where they were located in the vehicle. I got on the phone and was invited to bring the car back next week. I wasn't that excited about doing that (for obvious reasons)-- but I asked them to see if there was some way the system could be reset or if there was something like that I could do without bringing it back. Sean (the service writer whom I had been in contact with the whole time the vehicle was in the shop) said he'd check with a tech-- Sean called back about 40 minutes later and I was given something to check. Sean waited patiently on the phone while I poked and prodded and, eventually, I found the thing that had not been properly reconnected and the Bluetooth was working again. So, all is resolved, but I had to ding them on Quality of Work for overlooking that and not fully testing the vehicle before giving it back to me (which Sean mentioned in passing they are supposed to do). Overall, a great experience-- any negatives about owning the car for the first 90 days are certainly more in Volkswagen's pile than the dealership. More
Great staff that helped me find the car I wanted. While we didn't reach the deal I wanted initially, they were always willing to figure out ways to make it work for me, and as a plus I managed to walk out we didn't reach the deal I wanted initially, they were always willing to figure out ways to make it work for me, and as a plus I managed to walk out of the dealership with the vehicle I wanted at a price I liked. Nancy is a really great lady. I'm happy to have her as my sales agent. As for other guys... I think they are "okay". Negotiating on a car price is somehow always a unhappy experience to me....(or to everyone sales agent. As for other guys... I think they are "okay". But Nancy is very helpful, at least, she won't keep you waiting waiting and waiting and then come back to "test" your patience. Overall, buying car from her is a great experience, and also, the price I got is quite satisfied :) More
Had a great experience working with Pacific Volkswagon and the salesman, Kim Shirazi, during the purchase of my 2011 GTI. Kim went out of his way to make sure I got the car I wanted. He was never pushy ab and the salesman, Kim Shirazi, during the purchase of my 2011 GTI. Kim went out of his way to make sure I got the car I wanted. He was never pushy about the sale, but was exceptionally knowledgable about each of the VW models. My wife and I had driven cars at numerous dealerships and never found a salesman with Kim's knowledge of the capabilities of the cars. The VW GTI is an exceptional auto, but Kim was able to actually demonstrate those capabilities. Kim also made sure that we got a trouble free auto. My initial selection had a "check engine" light that had would not clear, so Kim made sure I received a different car, that exactly matched the original selection. Pacific Volkswagon met the lowest price of the other dealers in the area, so we were very pleased with that. Everyone at Pacific Volkswagon was extremely helpful and friendly. I had leased my previous auto there and had impeccable service. We plan on buying or leasing our next auto there. More
I came to Pacific Volkswagen while shopping for a certified pre-owned car. I'd been to several other dealerships at this point (Toyota, Nissan, etc), and could tell from the moment I walked in that t certified pre-owned car. I'd been to several other dealerships at this point (Toyota, Nissan, etc), and could tell from the moment I walked in that this was the dealership I wanted to do business with. Starting at the information desk, everyone here was exceptionally helpful and friendly. My auto specialist, Michael Tellez, went above and beyond with customer service. He was patient with me during my car-shopping process - he showed me several different Jettas and Beetles that I was interested in, and we drove ALL of them. He really wanted me to find the best car for me, regardless of how much time it took, and I know I did! Ty Woods, the Finance Director, was also very helpful with the insurance purchase process... and very calming and funny too. My one experience with their service department was no different - they quickly fixed a minor issue with my car's airbag light, checked and set the tire pressure, and gave it a bath! I would absolutely recommend Pacific Volkswagen to anyone in the market for a new or pre-owned vehicle. More
Archie and Pacific Volkswagen were great! Archie provided supportive, yet not too aggressive service in helping me buy my car. Archie never wasted my time, was direct and informative, and flexible in meeting supportive, yet not too aggressive service in helping me buy my car. Archie never wasted my time, was direct and informative, and flexible in meeting my needs. He made sure that I got what I wanted and even drove to Santa Ana to pick up a car in the color I wanted before I committed to buying so I could see the car when I came in. I would highly recommend doing business with Pacific Volkswagen and Archie Posada. More
I was treated well from the moment I entered the dealership from every department. No exceptions! That doesn't happen very often so I feel it's noteworthy. I felt comfortable, not pressured, service after the sale is exceptional. I have no complaints. The next time I find myself in the market for a car, I will consult Pacific VW first and most probably will be done. They're that good. More
When we first went to the dealer on a rainy Sunday, we went with the mindset of just looking at cars, we left a few hours later with a new VW. Hutch was friendly, knowledgeable, and super accomadating. We went with the mindset of just looking at cars, we left a few hours later with a new VW.
