Cautiously optimistic My service engine light came on. I was disheartened to see in the User's Manual that I had to take my car to the dealer. I like to do my own work (change oil, minor maintenance, etc.) as it is fun, and almost always cheaper. I am also very suspicious of dealer estimates and maintenance as being spurious and a form of price gouging. In this visit to the dealership, I was surprised and extremely pleased to recieve a more than fair estimate and no extra, unneeded charges and services. In fact, Michael Sandoval gave me a no-request discount for being a US military member! Maybe I have some things to relearn. Maybe dealerships are not out to get me... After this experience, I will be much more apt to go to the VW dealership, and in particular Pacific Volkswagen. More

Great Long Term Dealer Jimmy Nolte has been our go to guy since the beginning and we couldn't imagine dealing with anyone else. He even drove 40 miles from Hawthorne to Woo Jimmy Nolte has been our go to guy since the beginning and we couldn't imagine dealing with anyone else. He even drove 40 miles from Hawthorne to Woodland Hills in the rain just to bring me the papers to sign as I couldn't get away from work. That is great service! The service department is also excellent and very accommodating. We have leased several vehicles from here and they have always made a deal work even when we are in less than ideal financial straights. They always made us feel like they were trying to get us the best deal and we didn't feel like we are being judged by our wallet size. We will continue our relationship with this dealer for a long time. More
