Pacific BMW Service is all about "smoke & mirrors" For the record, I purchased my BMW primarily due to Pacific's outstanding customer service in their sales group. I assumed this customer service ex For the record, I purchased my BMW primarily due to Pacific's outstanding customer service in their sales group. I assumed this customer service experience would continue with the service of my vehicle. That was not the case. It was so bad that I my trip to the customer service department was my FIRST and LAST time at Pacific BMW. The my experience can be summed up in 3 words, ATTITUDE, DELAYS, SHORT STAFFED. DELAYS- when dropping off my car and then picking up my car, the process took 45 minutes. There was lots of waiting around between 1) getting my car initially checked in, 2) waiting for my service advisor, 3) waiting for my loaner. When I went to pick up my car, again I waited for 1) service advisor get my paper work (there was a good 5 minutes when not a single advisor could be found at any of the desks), 2) The longest wait was for my service car returned. I was told,' its up on the 4th floor, a valet will get it". after 10 minutes, I asked again and was told it's on its way, After another 10 minutes , I asked again and was told it's on its way. Finally, after waiting 30 minutes my car arrived. ATTITUDE: From the moment I checked in with the first attendant, there was this attitude that quite frankly I couldn't understand why this person was put in this role. That experience continued with several advisors that were involved in helping me get my car on the return. Finally, I had a few technical questions about some of the accessories and was told by the service advisors that the Valet could help me answer my questions. When I raised the question to the valet, he told me he couldn't answer them and speak to my service advisor. I was running in circles and Never had my questions answered SHORT STAFFED: What irritated me most about the experience of delays and attitude were all the service employees standing around doing nothing. When I pointed this out to to one of the advisors, his only comment was acknowledging the visual and stating they are working on a new system. I didn't have any expectations walking into the service area, but leaving, I know this is not a place I want to continue to patronize. More

Absent Adviser Car was left for 5 days and no status update was provided for my car. Adviser was nowhere to be found day of pick up. Had to fetch my own car after seeing it sit in the queue only to have the attendant demand that I go see my adviser first (Believe me, I tried). More
