I took my car in for an oil change and to have the tires rotated... the car only had 6,000 miles on it. They took my good tires and replaced them with worn ones. When I tried to get them to honor their "ti rotated... the car only had 6,000 miles on it. They took my good tires and replaced them with worn ones. When I tried to get them to honor their "tires for life" program... they basically said the papers I had were worthless. I knew they were dirty, I just didn't realize the depths to which they have sunk. More
Purchased a car. We liked it. The first sales manager was a jerk and when we refused the percentage they offered, Charles another sales manager came over and said a mistake was made and the actual percentage a jerk and when we refused the percentage they offered, Charles another sales manager came over and said a mistake was made and the actual percentage was lower. It was acceptable, so we purchased the car. During the negotiation, Charles says that they have only had the car for one month and it had been "certified". This added a value of $1500 to the car. However the following problems were observed: the molding was coming up on the roof, the brakes scraped, pulled to the left extremely bad, and the wipers were horrible. All were mentioned at time of purchase, (except brakes weren't noticed until afterward). Salesman promised it would be taken care of. Also after the removal of the marketing paint on the windshield it was noticed that the windshield had cracks. This could not be noticed before because of the writing and painting. We called not fifteen minutes after leaving to talk to Salesman and he said it would be replaced and to bring it in. We brought it in, it wasn't repaired. "Sorry, don't know what happened. Please bring it back." Molding was replaced. However, came up again. During the talk to the service department, found out that car wasn't received a month ago was actually serviced and "certified" three months earlier. DON'T GO FOR THE "CERTIFIED" = ITS A JOKE!. After the second drop off the car and the windshield still not replaced or tinted (which was promised at time of purchase), I called and spoke to Customer Relations Manager, Brittany. I told her I was going to be out of town for a week and to please make arrangements for the windshield the following Monday. I wanted this in her lap to make sure it would be done. The following Monday the car is dropped off. I pick it up that afternoon and guess what -- the windshield is the same! I call Brittany and she says it is not being replaced, only repaired to prevent further spread. I tell her that is unacceptable that Paul had promised and it was because of their gimmicking writing that it wasn't noticed. Too bad, "SIR YOU BOUGHT A USED CAR AS IS". Amazing how the "certification" turned into a "as is" car. My recommendation -- This was my second purchase here. The first one was smooth. However, they have lost all of my future business. No one knows what the other is doing. I will say that Corey and Bryce have been nice. Service is poor. As of right now, 25 days after purchase, my brakes have still not been looked at, my windshield still has a crack, and my car is overnight there waiting for the glue to keep the molding down for the second time. Hopefully my windows are tinted when I pick it up tomorrow. Oxmoor Toyota will not get one more cent from me, and I will not recommend to any of my friends. My co-workers can't believe how many trips I have had to make and the inconvenience they have put me through. We received a questionnaire from Toyota Certification and I hope they respond to the long letter we wrote them. Toyotas are great cars and we own two of them and have owned in the past two previously. However, I will NEVER drive on the Oxmoor Toyota lot again after my 90 day warranty is up. NEVER will I ever look at or purchase a car from them. Take my advise --- DRIVE ON BY! More
My wife and I bought a new '07 Yaris and got a decent deal, not the best but it was a little more than reasonable and our sales guy played the desperate "I need to make a sale line" and we got soft and b deal, not the best but it was a little more than reasonable and our sales guy played the desperate "I need to make a sale line" and we got soft and bought, but we love the car. However, their service dept. has been absolutely horrible. Another user has mentioned "empty promises" and that is exactly what they give (3 hours for an OIL CHANGE). To go with the oil change we need to replace a passenger side mirror, which despite a promise of the car being finished in a day the part has taken over a week and is still not there, with no guarantees on delivery or where a part may even be. No one has said that they would call us to let us know when the part would be there; and when we left our car and the part did not make it in 2-3 days (as promised) they failed to even call and let us know our car was just sitting at the dealership, despite guaranteeing it to be finished that day. Thus, leaving us scrambling to find rides for my wife from work. I will never use their service dept. ever AGAIN!!! I have heard so much good info about Toyota of Louisville it makes me a little disappointed in our choosing of Oxmoor in the first place. More
After multiple check engine lights and various managers After multiple check engine lights and various managers making empty promises, we have come to the conclusion that these people have no integrity. M After multiple check engine lights and various managers making empty promises, we have come to the conclusion that these people have no integrity. My "check engine" light has come on 4 times since taking it from the lot. I have had the EGR valve and gasket replaced, the mass air flow sensor and the throttle position sensor replaced, all four brakes and rotors replace, front rotor ground down, and bearing and seals redone on the front wheels. There is a jerking sensation in the vehicle when I take it on the interstate. They have still not found the cause. The biggest issue though is that they sold me a vehicle that they assured me had undergone a 60 point inspection and the brakes were in as bad of condition as they were. This is a gross violation of lemon laws to put a family into an unsafe vehicle. They are not willing to negotiate a settlement. They are insisting that I take what they are offering or keep this piece of crap. They have been extremely rude to my wife and I and all we did was get a lemon from them and want to be refunded since it is a lemon. More
We provided preliminary info via their well-designed website, and were contacted by Steve about the car we were interested in. They had no model in stock of the type we wanted, but he checked and found website, and were contacted by Steve about the car we were interested in. They had no model in stock of the type we wanted, but he checked and found one being built right in Kentucky and offered to order it for us. And all that was before we even went in to the dealership. At the dealership, friendly professional Steve Whittaker gave us a terrific deal on the still being built brand new 2007 model we wanted, let us take a similar car for a test drive by ourselves for about 1/2 hour, and then found other ways to reduce the price even further, and get us an XM satellite radio installed ABSOLUTELY FREE. No trade in, no down payment, excellent price, new car they ordered from the plant, one of the best new car experiences we have ever had. I would buy again from Oxmoor Toyota in a heartbeat. Their whole attitude from start to finish was one of courtesy, professionalism, and desire to satisy us. No, I am not an employee of Oxmoor Toyota. I am an IT consultant, and do not give out glowing reviews lightly. This dealer just happens to deserve one. More

They sold me a truck 50 miles away that had already been sold! Then they gave ME and ultimatum whether to back out or take a different truck. I said no. They found another truck exactly like the one I bought and said it will be 18-24 days until I'll get it. I said no. I had to complain to the head man to get one 5 days later. 5 days have passed; no truck and nobody knows where its at. Those Oxmoor fools need to get something straight before somebody like me straightens it out for them! More

As I was leaving the sales person told me "we might call you tonight, becase it might be here". Two weeks later - NO car. After 3 weeks I went back for my money as was treated like I was robing the bank. I will not even drive by this dealer. They did not called me once to provide me a status on the car. When ever I called to check I would be passed from numerous associates with no answer and no customer service skills. You need to add "it sucks" to this rating. More
