I was in the market for a new small SUV/Crossover style vehicle and was considering several makes and models, including a RAV-4. I visited Oxmoor Toyota and while my inital salesperson was friendly, and promptly got me a RAV-4 to test drive, my issues began when I asked for the best price they could sell the vehicle to me. My salesperson came back, not with a price but with a payment...the sticker on the RAV 4 I test drove was around $24,000 and I knew with my good credit I would qualify for the 1.9% for 60 months that was currently being offered...that should have put my payment around $450 per month, even if they didn't come down off the sticker price. Instead, they told me they could offer me the "GREAT DEAL, with $1200 down, $496 per month for 60 months" What?? That puts the price of the vehicle around $30K if it's at 1.9% interest. I specifically asked for the purchase price, not the payment...any idiot knows never to shop by payment. My salesperson then went and got his boss, the sales manager, who can best be described as a "typical" car salesman. Spoke fast, tried to sell me on a payment, blah blah blah. I offered $22,500 he finally agreed to $23K. The clincher was when I questioned how they came up with the original payment, what was the purchase price on that, because I had already calculated it to be close to $30K and his reply was "Oh, you've done your homework, huh?" Yes, I may be a young woman but I am college educated and this is not my first rodeo...and their dealer fees to process paperwork was $800. Made the "free" tv they offered not so free after all, and confirmed my belief not to shop at most big-city dealerships. I will never do business with Oxmoor Toyota, or even consider them when shopping for a vehicle again. I guess they can afford to offend a few potential customers because of the large market they serve. More
We went here all the way from E Town because they had the best selection of used Prius' and I truly had my heart set on one. My husband doesn't have great credit, but it's not horrible either, and they worked very hard to get us the deal we needed. We offered to go of an older model Prius if needed to work out the deal, but instead of doing that, and taking the easy way out, they got us in the car we really wanted and loved. They even had a room with cartoons on for my two young boys to watch and run round without running or climbing into the cars on the floor. (Not that they complained when they did!) It felt great buying a car from great people. And getting the car of my dreams didn't hurt either!!! More
The salesman who assisted me, Rasheen, was very unhelpful. As someone desiring to purchase a new/gently used car costing around 10-14,000, I wanted to see my options. In the last 30 days of the warranty we called numerous times to deal with the warranty as 3 major issues were going on. The rear defroster doesn't work. You try driving in Chicago without a rear defroster! The side doors freeze shut and there was a problem with a headlight. We NEVER had a single call returned! The salesman said, he's see what he could do and then ignored us. I sent in my father-in-law to get help b/c he lives there, and he was told, too bad, it's past the 90 days! What a crappy way of handling your customers. It's a great way to ensure no repeat business! More
I had been looking for a Toyota FJ Cruiser for months. During that time I checked every dealership within a 250 mile radius several times. Finally I reached Chris Simpson at Oxmoor Toyota because they had an FJ in stock that was exactly what I was looking for. Unfortunately that one was sold but within a week Chris and the team at Oxmoor had located another one and had it on the lot waiting for me. My famly and I drove up late on a Saturday afternoon, picked up the vehicle and were on our way very quickly. Between Chris and Brandon Beverly everything ran beautifully during the sales process. I would rather take a beating then purchase a vehicle but Chris made sure all of our questions were answered and everything was taken care of. We definitely drove off of the lot feeling great about our purchase. I would absolutely recommend Chris Simpson and Oxmoor Toyota to anyone in the market for a vehicle. More

He answered all of my questions very thoroughly and he made sure I understood details before moving on to the next topic. Both employees are truly an asset to Oxmoor Toyota. More
Very pleased with efficiency of internet manager. I applied for credit online, let sales person know what I was interested in and it really saved me a great deal of time. Charles Hanson the GM is absolutely the nicest and most professional person that I have ever encountered in the car business and his boss is a life saver because between the two of them, they did the impossible but getting me a car under difficult circumstances. The actually facility is unlike any car dealer I have ever been to. Very classy and fast service seems to be consistent. The building and the lounge are first class. They have a very solid business over there. I have nothing but good things to say. They set me up and I am grateful for that alone. I am so happy and I would never go anywhere else but there for my Toyota needs...I'm sure there are more good things to say, but right now I'm not sure what else to remark on. If you want a fun and professional car buying experience, go there, they will take super care of you!!! More
Customer service was not that bad. They answered most of our questions and allowed us to test out their products. And now it has be over a week since we called and our friends have still not received the check. Friendliness was great at this dearlership because they tried to offer us many things such as food and water. They gave us space when we needed it and most of the time they were all smiles. Overall, the experience was good. It had its ups and downs to it. More
