Although buying a car is a long process, Vadim and the general manager were very easy to work with while all the paperwork was prepared. I was amazed at the lack of pressure and willingness to meet my price. Vadim didn't desert me once the deal was made; he was there every step of the way and made sure I thoroughly understood how the car worked. I would highly recommend Vadim and Oxmoor Toyota. I don't usually say that about salespeople or a car dealership, but this one, from the service department to the sales department, are extremely mindful of the customer and of women buyers. I would go back in a minute for my next car. More
I bought a NEW car at the beginning of April. The Price of the car seemed fair at the end, although on the internet the price was $2500 less then what they initially said. The reason the price was much lo of the car seemed fair at the end, although on the internet the price was $2500 less then what they initially said. The reason the price was much lower was because on their web site they go ahead and discount every possible incentive and place the fact that the internet price represents that all discounts are already deducted somewhere on the web site that you must search for just to find where that internet price is derived from. When I the car and was negotiating things went fairly smooth. The price was higher then what I expected when finalized, but when I walked in the door thinking that the internet price was the starting price I was set up to be let down to begin with. I live in a separate state then Kentucky and the salesman and the financial expert both were aware of this when I was speaking to them about how it would work for me to get my plates and registration. They both promised me that I would have my tags mailed to me and I would not have to pay anything out of pocket until the next year when my tags were up for renewal. Once I was finally out the door and had an opportunity to experience my new corolla, I received a phone call phone a nice man who wanted to set up a time to meet me at my local license branch so I could get my title transferred and my registration taken care of. At that moment he informed me that I should expect to pay a couple hundred dollars for the title and registration when we do the title. The very next day someone from the dealership called me to follow up on how my car was and how my experience was with the dealership. I explained to her that I was promised that I would pay nothing more out of pocket and she said she would follow up for me and then email me within a couple days. Six weeks later I had received no email from the dealership on my situation. When I called the dealership they passed me around to different departments until the one they sent me to finally had a voicemail for me to leave a message. Nobody would call me back from the dealership until I went on their website to contact them via email and then I was called within minutes because they thought I was looking to buy a car. At that time I told the man I spoke with my situation, he told me he was sorry and would take care of it and I needed to call him tomorrow. I called the next day and once again a voicemail. The day that I went to the license branch I tried calling one last time, and this time he answered. I asked him what he found out and he told me that someone else was supposed to take care of it and he was going to talk to them and would call me right back. Forty minutes later I still received no call, I had to get my plates taken care of because I was on the last day of my dealer tags, and I had to pay an extra couple hundred dollars that the dealership promised they would take care of from the beginning. If you decide to use this dealership make sure you get everything on a due bill or in writing of some sorts or they just may give you the run around like they did with me. The car is great, but the car only had 4 miles on it when I bought it. The final part of this story is that they spelled my last name wrong on my papers. If you buy from Oxmoor Toyota, pay attention and expect little from them after you drive away. More
I was in the market for buying a new 2012 camry. I fell in love with the car and had test drove it at Toyota of Louisville. I researched online and found that Oxmoor Toyota had a few models of the Camry L in love with the car and had test drove it at Toyota of Louisville. I researched online and found that Oxmoor Toyota had a few models of the Camry Le with a low price. When I arrived at the dealership, I was told that the internet price didn't apply to me. I originally went in to look at a black model and began haggeling a price. After much back and forth arguing, I had gotten the price down to where I wanted it to be. All of the sudden the car changed to a lower price basic model as well as a different color. This basic model could have been brought down even lower. Pulling a fast one? It gets worse. In the meantime I was having my truck appraised to see what I could get for it as a trade in. The internet manager working with me had said it was only worth a $1,000. I told him the rims and tires were worth $1,500-$2,000 alone. All of the sudden they could give me $3,500 for it when I said that $1,000 was rediculous. After much more back and forth arguing, he told me I could only do the lower price model, and took the floor mats out of the car and power seating. He had tacked on multiple fees, which he could not break down and explain to me. At this point I walked out and went to Toyota of Louisville instead. They appraised my truck, telling me right off the bat they could give me $3,700 for it. Which this was a decent price considering the condition and year. Proud to say I left Toyota of Louisville with a brand new 2012 Camry Le with no problems at all, and an even better price than Oxmoor Toyota. Much better quality and service at Toyota of Louisville. I shopped for a new 2012 Camry using the internet. I found some cars that I was interested in looking at on http://oxmoortoyota.com/. I called the internet sales number and had my questions answered by found some cars that I was interested in looking at on http://oxmoortoyota.com/. I called the internet sales number and had my questions answered by Steven. He answered my questions without trying to pressure me. I told him that I wanted to come by after work and dinner and drive the Camry. I drove the Camry and I explained that I was going to drive two other makes of cars before I made my decision. He asked if I wanted the price on the Camry and I said yes. The price was $600 more than I thought it would be from the internet (the car I wanted had a sunroof and was not the one I had seen on the website). The supervisor came over and adjusted the price. I liked the price but told him that I was going to drive the other two makes of cars before I bought. He asked me if I would drive the car until I made my mind up the next day. He said that would allow me to better compare the Camry to the other makes and would put pressure on the other dealerships to make their best offer. I mentioned that it would ensure that I would see him the next day. Steven, the salesman, had the next day off, but said he would come in anytime to meet me. I set up a time with Steven for the next day. I decided to buy the Camry. Steven and the team at Oxmoor made sure I understood all of the cars features and all of the benefits of Toyota ownership. They filled the car with gas, cleaned it, and presented it to me under the Oxmoor roof in front of the dealership. The manager came out to meet me, thank me for my business and to make sure that I was happy. He took a picture of Steven and I. It really makes you feel special to have the car presented to you in such a manner. Since I have bought the car, I have been contacted, but not pestered, to make sure I was still happy. More
