This is the third vehicle that we have purchased from Oxmoor Toyota. Salesperson, Richard Edmondson has great customer service skills, he approached us with a smile and handshake. We returned to Oxmoor Toyota for another matter but. Mr. Edmondson ask my husband, what would be the next vehicle he would purchase as soon as the lease on the ToyotaRav4 lease was up that Mr, Edmondson had previous lease to us. My husband told Mr. Edmondson a Cadillac, Mr Edmondson explained to us that they were nice vehicles. Then, he ask us to wait a few minutes then he returned with a 2011 Toyota Avalon. Mr. Edmondson went along with us to test drive the vehicle. He showed all the special features. He explained to us a Cadillac's value would drop versus the Avalon's value would hold up longer and it was better built vehicle. The 2011 Toyota Avalon was a manager's demo with a $5000 drop on the original price. Therefore, we able to purchase the vehicle at a reasonable price, with affordable monthly payments to own. Recently, I have had some rather negative experiences at car dealerships in the Louisville area; visiting three dealerships where no one even bothered to say hello. Upon arriving at the Oxmoor Toyota dealer car dealerships in the Louisville area; visiting three dealerships where no one even bothered to say hello. Upon arriving at the Oxmoor Toyota dealership, I was greeted by the welcoming presence of Mr. Tyrone Cottrell. Tyrone's excellent sense of humor and engaging personality instantly put me at ease. Within the first 15 minutes of my visit, he found out what type of car I was looking for, what I was looking to pay, and had me behind the wheel for my first of three test drives. When it came to negotiation, he worked hard to get me very close to my price point. Throughout the entire process, Tyrone was never pushy, overly assertive, or disengaged. Tyrone along with the finance officer and manager made buying my first new car an excellent experience. More
