The experience we had purchasing our new Prius at Oxmoor Toyota was better than one could hope for. We worked with Cory , who was very receptive to what we were looking for, and had a "no BS" approach w Toyota was better than one could hope for. I am the type of buyer who does enough research beforehand to know almost exactly what I want by the time I head to a dealer. Cory picked up on this and didn't make us go through the standard sales tactics. Thanks to his straightforward attitude and honest answers, we were in and out of the dealership in about 2 hours (which included the time to test drive, trade in our car, negotiate, and sign all the papers!) with exactly what we wanted at the price we wanted to pay. RJ talked us through all of the paperwork in the business office and made everything clear to understand. We were offered several "add ons" such as an extended warranty, additional insurance coverage, and the exterior/interior protectant, however at no time did he pressure us to purchase any or all of these packages. This process was so much different than what I remember my last car buying experience to be. Not only will I be referring friends to Oxmoor Toyota in the future, I plain going back within a year to replace my wife's car with another Prius! I did not have any interaction with the maintenance department, however I plan on returning to update this review after my first couple of Toyota Care inspections at 5,000 and 10,000. More
Despite the fact that -two years ago- I had a very bad experience with sale persons AND a manager who made me -at that time- give up a car, I came back to Toyota this week because I wanted a specific car experience with sale persons AND a manager who made me -at that time- give up a car, I came back to Toyota this week because I wanted a specific car from Toyota website (Toyota Yaris LE, 5 doors 2012). Overall my experience was great and much better I was expecting. What I expect when dealing with a sale person: - No pressure !! - Intelligence - Knowledge about the car and the sale process - Able to find an answer to my questions - Respect of what I want and of my time - Comprehension and politeness despite my accent (foreigners are often mistreated and not taken seriously) - Smile even though I am slow to take a decision - Time to deal with my expectations - On time to appointment - Open minded enough to make a deal advantageous for both of us - Still smiling and available after I signed the deal - Make the whole process smooth and easy for me - Give option (not obligation) for financing - Take care of my car insurance transfer I worked with DENNIS EDLIN (sales and leasing consultant) and I found most of the qualities for a sale person that I listed above. Very SMILING, FRIENDLY (always good to get some fresh water); he took time to wait for my male friend to join us when the time to talk about numbers arrived, PATIENT while my mind was going back and forth between two cars, OPEN MINDED enough to understand my strong accent, ON TIME for our appointment, I did not feel the high pressure that some dealerships force on customers…. For the payment – Robert Jaggers- took care of all the papers. He explained me the option for financing and other possibility for warranty extension, very friendly and smiling too. I finally had to care about my car insurance transfer by myself. It would have been nice if he had faxed the VIN to my insurance directly. I got the car after my bank and Robert took care of getting the letter of credit. They make the sale easy on me. After the sale, Dennis took care of preparing my car (clean, full gas…), took time to explain me all the main functions of the board in the car (cruise control, stability control, lights, audio, mirrors, locks…), and all the warranties, he asked someone to install the Bluetooth connection between my Yaris and my iPhone (very nice person too, very fast and smiling)… Overall, there is a good customer service from sales person to financing. They clearly work to make the best impression on customers. I am very pleased of my purchase. Yaris is a great car! I discovered in the manual of the car some options that were not discussed during the sale but make the Yaris even more attractive! More

It took us awhile to come to a meeting of the minds on price but we finally did. Through it all, they were polite and appreciative of our business and never tried to use the high-pressured tactics found price but we finally did.
