We came in to only test drive a Prius. We did not intend on making a purchase. Cory was not a smarmy car salesman. He was accommodating and knowledgable. We appreciated his manner and tenacity. We had already made a deal with another dealership. As far as we can tell, this dealership accessed this information through Toyota and called us at the last minute before we arrived at the other dealersh far as we can tell, this dealership accessed this information through Toyota and called us at the last minute before we arrived at the other dealership. Derrick Spratt called us and made an offer on an identical vehicle to the one we were getting ready to close on. Both the price and the interest rate were significantly better than the deal we were getting ready to close. I was frankly suspicious of this whole thing, but my husband wanted to check it out so we drove to the dealership. Mr. Spratt met us at the door, but then immediately turned us over to Cory Morris. Mr Morris reiterated that they could make us this deal. After taking our financial information and telling us we were approved, they then tried to sell us a different vehicle to the one we wanted with the same monthly payment we were going to get at the other dealership. They claimed it was a better vehicle than the one we had intended to buy and therefore we should be willing to take it at the same monthly payment as the other place. They claimed that they had only had one vehicle left like the one we wanted that they had offered to us at the lower price, but it had been sold. THE ONLY REASON WE HAD EVEN CONSIDERED THIS DEAL WAS BECAUSE THEY HAD GUARANTEED US THE LOWER MONTHLY PAYMENT. THIS TURNED OUT TO BE A LIE! We considered this to be a "bait and switch" situation. We told Mr. Morris this and we immediately left the dealership. We returned to the original dealership and closed the deal with them. But this wild goose chase cost us an hour and a half of time, meaning we were much later getting everything done where we bought the car. It ruined our afternoon and evening and was a horrible experience. We will never do business with that dealership again. We also plan to file a complaint with the Better Business Bureau. More

Salesman was OK - pleasant and caught him in only one little lie but he didn't know much about the car itself (e.g., didn't know what the "B" gear was and kept forgetting to find out). The guy doing t little lie but he didn't know much about the car itself (e.g., didn't know what the "B" gear was and kept forgetting to find out). The guy doing the price negotiations was jerk and fit the used car salesman stereotype to a T. We had to walk out just to get away and leave for a couple of hours. Wish we had not returned but we did. Paper guy was even worse. Pushed the extended warranty relentlessly. Started at $1,800 but $495 for key replacement. Then key was free. They price kept dropping to something like $1,399. Finally, just to get out of there we said we needed to go and would think it over and let him know in the morning when we needed to return with trade-in (another story that I'll not mention here). Next day he came down another $100 then admitted that he was actually sneaking the key thing in at $295 and remove it so our final price would be about $1,000. It finally ended when my wife nearly screamed at the paper guy, "He said NO!' Btw, the paper guy never looked at my wife during all the time we were there. He was an old boy sexist. Wish I'd never set foot in that place. More
Mr Cottrell and Mr Hatton were extremely courteous and helpful during our entire buying experience. They both put an emphasis on making our experience as simple and stress-free as possible while happily helpful during our entire buying experience. They both put an emphasis on making our experience as simple and stress-free as possible while happily and patiently answering all of our questions. They worked with us to reach a deal that was fair to both sides without haggling and dickering. I would heartily recommend their services to my friends and family. More

My daughter and I had to go to the dealership 3 additional times to re-sign the contract! Only one of the 3 times did the dealership contact us to let us know there was a problem. The other 2 times additional times to re-sign the contract! Only one of the 3 times did the dealership contact us to let us know there was a problem. The other 2 times contact was made by the buyer (me) because a payment was due soon and payment information had not been received. Calls weren't returned on more than one occasion. When I spoke with the head of finance he indicated we would need to come in and resign for the 3rd time and told me the paperwork would be ready. I indicated the time we would be there and the visit ended 1 1/2 hours later!!! We met with someone completely different that had clearly had this dumped on him for reasons I can only speculate about therefore I will not share them here. The finance manager eventually came into the situation and told us that he had to come in on his day off and that he would rather be spending time with his family. While I get that, I can assure you both my daughter and I would have preferred to have been somewhere else also. And to top it off while I was there dealing with something I was told would be ready, I had to call work to tell them I would be late! The finance manager also tried to reiterate that even though it was a hassle to have to come back in that we were getting a better deal. NOT TRUE!!! Actually we ended up getting a WORSE deal. Sure the purchase price was less but the interest rate was significantly higher, which of course made the payment higher. According to the finance manager the interest rate went up because of something in my credit. While I know that is NOT the case, as absolutely nothing has changed with my credit since this mess began on October 10, 2013, and it’s now December 12, 2013, if they could have done their job properly in the beginning everything would have already been signed, sealed and delivered at the much lower interest rate. IF we do not refinance the loan we will pay considerably more than we originally contracted for. So be cautioned when dealing with Oxmoor Toyota!!! If it had been my car that I was purchasing and not a car my daughter was purchasing, they would have received the keys back in lieu of signing a new contract! If I can find another course of action to take besides sharing this information here, I can assure you I will. More
