I purchased my new CX-9 in November 2010. We visited the dealership on 3 occassions and test drove twice. Overall, the experience was good. Did feel some pressure during the second visit (1st test drive) dealership on 3 occassions and test drove twice. Overall, the experience was good. Did feel some pressure during the second visit (1st test drive) to close that day. We agreed upon a price, however I went home that evening without signing. When I came back 2 days later for my 3rd visit, I test drove the car again and decided to proceed with the purchase. The salesperson then told me the sale price he quoted 2 nights prior was a mistake. The sales manager got involved and again told me the car could not be sold for the amount we had agreed upon (in writing) earlier in the week. He increased the sales price a couple thousand. We negotiated further and finally came to an agreement we both were happy with... we met in the middle plus was given some additional accessories for the car. In the end, we still purchased the car for less than another Mazda dealership was offering across town. The whole family loves the car. More
It was a surprisingly pleasant experience and we would recommend the dealership to family and friends. I saw an ad for a car online. I noted it was slightly above what would be considered appropriate for the year, model, and features. When I adopted the same tone he was using, he became outrightly rude, which is when I hung up. I am not really sure how he is able to sell cars with that attitude. I have a giant insurance check I just cashed and wanted that exact car. It would have been an easy sale if he was even remotely polite. I am more than glad to take my business elsewhere, and I hope you do, too. More
I initially had some issues with this dealership but they were great at correcting their mistakes. I am more than satisfied with the outcome of my situation. My experience with Oxmoor Mazda was very good. My salesman was very attentive and thorough in his demonstration of the vehicle pre-sale, and went above-and-beyond in getting us familiar with the vehi salesman was very attentive and thorough in his demonstration of the vehicle pre-sale, and went above-and-beyond in getting us familiar with the vehicle after we had purchased it, even going so far as to set up the Bluetooth on our cell phones. Like all car dealers, they try to make money on a sale, but they were not the usual "relentless" that most dealers are in trying to squeeze the last few dollars out of a customer. And they didn't pull any of the tricks or nastiness I have seen a lot of dealers try over the years, in order to give themselves any kind of advantage. I thought they were very straight in their dealings, and I would not hesitate to recommend Avery and Oxmoor Mazda to anyone shopping for a car. More
My overall experience at Oxmoor Mazda was great. When i went to look at a car I knew the exact car that i was looking for and they took me right to it. Once I decided on buying the car everyone that helped went to look at a car I knew the exact car that i was looking for and they took me right to it. Once I decided on buying the car everyone that helped with selling me the car were very friendly and helped a lot. They were very negotiable with my price ranges and help with that also. my expience at Oxmoor Mazda started off kinda shaky. But ended up very good. my father came in look for a used car. the sales men was very good with showing us wghat they had to offer. they really worked wi ended up very good. my father came in look for a used car. the sales men was very good with showing us wghat they had to offer. they really worked with us on the pricing. I am extremely happy with the car. The salesman was friendly and easy to work with. The sales managers at the time, that had to approve the price, were friendly also. The only suggestion I would make would be for them to realize that people have access to the internet on their phone. I was looking at the price, the car I purchased was listed on the website, while they were trying to "jump through hoops" to get that price for me. I wanted the car. It was just kind of amusing. Still pleased. I got what I wanted and they sold the car. Win Win situation. More
