Bottom line a shady dealer that offers a good price but after the sale isn't concerned about customer service and doesn't live up to its agreements. Purchased a new vehicle from Oxmoor Mazda as they see after the sale isn't concerned about customer service and doesn't live up to its agreements. Purchased a new vehicle from Oxmoor Mazda as they seemingly had the best price in a 3-state area. My perspective now is they offer a good price but don't live up to their purchase agreements...bottom line you get less than what you pay for. Very friendly service while they were courting me for a purchase. That ended shortly after my taking possession of the vehicle, now I cannot get any customer service from them. Every time I call I get a run around and/or a promise of a returned call that never happens. Oxmoor did not have the car I was looking for on their lot so they performed a dealer trade. The car they traded for had the options I wanted except a trailer hitch. Part of the purchase agreement between myself and Oxmoor was that a trailer hitch would be installed at a later date (part had to be ordered) at their cost. My mistake was to trust them at their word and drive away with the belief they would live up to their end of the bargain. After a week of no contact I called my salesman, Avery Davis, to get a status check. He initially told me that the paperwork authorizing the parts order had been lost. When I pressed him about it he said agreed it could be recreated and shortly thereafter the original paperwork was found. Several days later I called again to get the status of the parts order. Avery Davis told me this time that the parts department had not ordered it yet...things had been busy. I called the parts department to determine the status of the parts order and they knew nothing of it. At this point I lost contact Avery Davis. Left several voicemails, messages and e-mails seeking the status of our purchase agreement but none have been returned. I then went to the GM Bill Willoughby. He initially seemed helpful suggesting I have the part installed at a local dealer (I live out of state) at Oxmoor's cost. I agreed to this, went to a local dealer who agreed to do the work if Oxmoor paid. Oxmoor and the local dealer were in contact and I was told Oxmoor would contact me about the next step. No one has contacted me nor will the GM, Bill Willoughby, or anyone else return my calls. More
Very easy to deal with, excellent customer service. Would recommend to all friends and family. We purchased a 2010 Mazda 6 Touring Edition. We are very happy with the car and all that came with it. I purchased a vehicle for my wife (MX5 Miata) for Valentine's Day. It was a surprise while she was away at work. Bill and the staff at Oxmoor Mazda were very helpful in making this transaction quick Valentine's Day. It was a surprise while she was away at work. Bill and the staff at Oxmoor Mazda were very helpful in making this transaction quick and easy. I found the vehicle online and proceeded to the store to make my purchase. I found the vehicle exactly as it was described and at the right price. I couldn't have asked for a much faster and easier transacation. To make things even better, Bill Willoughby the GM even let me take the big red bow from the showroom floor to place on the vehicle. My salesperson Herb drove the car to my house and placed it in the garage. When my wife got home that evening... well all I can say is that it was a huge surprise. Thanks! I have since been in for service on another one of my vehicles (Acura TSX) and that experience was great as well. I will return and spread the word. More

well whare to start! first of all do not go there if you are unexperienced with vehicles, believe me they may be over priced!!! also once you are there is very difficult to get out, their customer service t are unexperienced with vehicles, believe me they may be over priced!!! also once you are there is very difficult to get out, their customer service techniques are very unexpected because if you are working with a sales person and let say is hard for him to make the deal with you, he will call someone else and start allover with you it may be untill the manager of the whole dealer may appear. please dont go there, and dont get me wrong i do love mazda but i rather go out of town to purchase one form a Mazda dealer.. if you are young take someone experience with you!!!!!!!!!. Well to make a long story short i was almost screwed and im glad i cought it i went to go buy a 2002 explorer xlt with a list price of 4,995 well this was a sunday night i got their around closing time they just got this car in rick said and he would cut me a deal on it for 4,000 and went on and on how he was cutting me a great deal so their is the bait well i agreed to let him hold my credit card info as a down payment so noone could buy it i was assured no charges would be applied the next day i was told i would need a cosigner my father agreed so they were happy and were like good everything is going smoothly well sunday nothing was wrong with the car when i saw it the next day the driver side door panel was taken off and all wireing was out. bill assured me it would be taken care of. When all the paper work was typed up and ready to be signed the number were tatally wrong after taxes and warrenty and intrest i would be paying well over 15,000 the intrest was 14.25%. I stated my father and i could go through our bank and get it at 4.25% we are through kentucky telco fed credit union and yes u can get 4.25% when they did not beleave. so i said we were through deal was off and i left. Bill, and Rick continuasly tried to call me to try and close the deal i stopped answering their calls so i recieved a text from bill stating (you waisted my time, No bank will ever treat u like i did, Your deposite is none refundable) Well for one hes right no bank that i deal with will never treat me as bad as they did. they lost my buisness and my familys buisness i suggest they lose everyone elses aswell but if u do buy from their be carefull and good luck. Be careful here. If you start asking questions and don't buy, things become ugly, and fast. They quoted me a good price on a new car, we weren't necessarily looking at new. I entertained the offer, but i buy, things become ugly, and fast. They quoted me a good price on a new car, we weren't necessarily looking at new. I entertained the offer, but it didn't pan out. I'm going to go out on a limb here -- that happens from time to time?? Here's the response (from their email) when I told them I was going a different direction; "So, thanks for wasting my time and energy!!!! Enjoy the Camry, if you actually did purchase one." That was from Avery. Called his boss, Rick. All he was interested in doing was to try to sell me the car. I was just wanting to point out that I really didn't appreciate the whiney response... I was just wasting my breath. I guess that's their strategy... agressive, unprofessional, bully, and if you don't buy then you're an idiot. Awesome. Also, I really didn't understand how I wasted so much of their time and energy... I never went to the dealership, just communicated by phone and email. Maybe it takes them hours to compose an email? ??? Car salesman... that usually has a negative connotation. This experience sure didn't help change that. Good prices, but arrogant as all get out. You've been warned. More
I went to Oxmoor Mazda planning to buy a used Mazda. I stated several times that I wanted a Mazda 3 or RX-8. They continually tried to get me to buy a Ford Focus that they were for sure I would love. I'm stated several times that I wanted a Mazda 3 or RX-8. They continually tried to get me to buy a Ford Focus that they were for sure I would love. I'm sorry but if a customer states they want something and they say it more than once try and work with what they want and do not push them into something else. I went back a couple days after this visit and looked at an RX-8 that was listed on the internet for 11,900. I test drove the car and noticed the check engine light and oil light were on but Charles told me it wouldn't be a problem and he would have it fixed. We got back to the dealership and they insisted that if numbers were right I get the car today. I agreed. Only if numbers were right and the problems with the car were fixed. The first price they brought to me was 17,900. Mind you that the internet price was 11,900. I lauged and said, "Are you kidding me? If that does not change to internet price I'm leaving right now." So of course they fixed that very quick. My salesman really had no idea what he was doing and honestly was too nice and honest to be in the car business. He was sweating and nervous the whole time because he knew he was scamming me and lieing so he had someone else come talk to me and try to take care of me. That process lasted a while and I had to raise my voice and get nasty a couple times. Next thing I asked for was the Carfax. They printed it out and the car salesmen went through it. He wouldn't let me. I should have left right there. Long story short I signed papers like an idiot but thank goodness I didn't drive the car off the lot. I got out of my contract after a dispute with Bill(the GM) who is extremely rude. Everyone except one salesmen there was rude and unprofessional. Look else where for a car! P.S. They told me the reason the check engine light and oil light were on because a spark plug was loose. Never will I go to buy a car by myself again! More
This dealer's sales techniques confirm every horrible stereotype about car dealers you can imagine. Bait and switch, good-cop/bad-cop team approach, poor product knowledge and feigned ignorance of adver stereotype about car dealers you can imagine. Bait and switch, good-cop/bad-cop team approach, poor product knowledge and feigned ignorance of advertised incentives and prices, bold-faced lying, etc., etc. I would suggest to one and all to avoid this dealer if possible. It's a pity, because Mazdas are great cars (I have had 3 of them). More
Long story short they completly screwed me when I purchased my 2009 Mazda 3 in Feburary. I was promised one price, and the salesman and I both signed paperwork with that price but when we went in to purchased my 2009 Mazda 3 in Feburary. I was promised one price, and the salesman and I both signed paperwork with that price but when we went in to do the financing suddenly the numbers were differnt. I expressed to the finance guy (he was the head of finance) that those were not the numbers we agreed upon, he assured me they were and went around in circles explaining how it all made sense. I actually got so upset I started to cry(yes embarrassing I know) but my husband and I decided to trust the guy once he started playing the "well I just got a car for my daughter and it was this much also...blah blah and you dont really pay that much", etc). I left feeling uneasy but like I said I believed the guy- my fault I know. After having several issues with them improperly installing a new sunroof that ended up taking 3 weeks to get done, I decided to look back over the paperwork. I sat down to crunch the numbers with a calculator and they just didnt make sense, nothing added up correctly so I went in to talk with the finance guy. My salesguy said he was 'not allowed to talk to me' so after talking with the finance guy we figured out the price wasnt right- they had charged me $3000 over the msrp for the car plus all sorts of other things I had said I didnt want. He assured me that the gm- Bill would fix it no problem. Well fter waiting over 2 hours to talk to Bill (as he walked by us repeatedly completly ignoring us) he said he would be generous and give me $500 back. When I asked to see my paperwork that both the salesguy and I had signed he said they didnt have it anymore. He said the extra money was the cost of the sunroof, because they had to order me a special one that was more expensive ($2000)after the first one didnt work. At that point I knew he was full of shit- as I had signed the paperwork before the whole sunroof debacle. The whole time I remained calm and didnt yell (though I wish I had looking back), and he siad if I wasnt happy we could go to arbitration- it would cost me nothing. He agreed to cancel my service contract and we both signed the paperwork- 4 months later I still havent received anything and he wont take my calls. I also found out that the arbitration does cost money ($750) and we have to go to a company they choose...wonder who the arbitrator will side with...hmmm! I know I am not the only one they have done this too, check out other review sites and you will see this is a pattern. I dont want anyone else to go through what we did, despite putting down $10,000 deposit we had to finance $17,500 with our credit union (who said we owed more on the car then it was worth ie. upside down loan!) The car which should have cost us $20,000 or so we will end up paying over $27,500 PLUS INTEREST ($33,000). Boy did I learn my lesson, do not EVER trust anyone in business, especially the car business!!! More
