I just want to say that my experience with this dealership was great. My favorite part and what sold me the car was my salesman Joe! I went to this shop three separate times trying to decide wheth dealership was great. My favorite part and what sold me the car was my salesman Joe! I went to this shop three separate times trying to decide whether I wanted to buy this vechile or not. Every time, Joe was there to help and didn't pressure me not one time. I told him I do not make decisions quick and would have to think about it so don't think I was going to buy a car the first time, others tried to get me to buy that day with incentives promotions, but Joe he understood. He was still there each time and he was always willing to help me decide which car was best for me. When we did decide on which vechile I wanted, he sat down with me on payment options and totally talked me thru the process. I was hesitiant at first on buying and it took all night,but Joe sat with me and talked with me the whole night. After I did my paperwork Joe was still there waiting to show me more details on the car itself, the shop had basically closed up and he sat in the parking lot explaining features on the car. He went beyond his time and made sure my buying experience was fabulous. Thanks Joe! Tracie More
We actually purchased 2 new vehicles & both experiences were the absolute best purchases & experiences I have ever had purchasing a vehicle & going in debt!! I dealt with one Salesman, Tom Heitler, he was the most professional, courteous & excellent salesman, I will never deal with another salesman besides himself, he truly made the buying experience a joy. Mr Heitler truly needs to be a manager of a dealership somewhere. just not to far! He is a great asset to Oxmoor Hyundai & we will return most definitely, their needs to be more salesman like Mr Heitler! No pressure just the facts about what i needed in a car and never did they try to "up-sell". My salesman, Chuck Myers was friendly, professional and really cared about my needs in a car. He did his job in an exceptional way and not only asked the right questions to determine my needs in a car, but actually saved me a great deal of money in the process! I strongly recommend Hyundai of Oxmoor for you next car buying experience and also stronly recommend Chuck Myers as your personal car buying professional. I am over 50 years of age and have never experienced such a "pain free" car buying experience and such professionalism in the staff at Hyundai of Oxmoor. Hyundai cars are among the best in the industry now and if you don'g give this dealership your first choice, your aking a mistake in my opinion! So,I have to agree with several other reviewers on here about the price fluctuating. We actually settled on a deal, but found out that "Brad" with so many years experience was either an idiot or about the price fluctuating. He said the mileage overage on a lease was .08 a mile, then the finance guy in the office right behind him said it was .20??????? So we ended up sealing the deal, signing papers and all.....then they call us 2 days later and say there were problems with the paperwork and they needed another $1000 down and our payment was going up $40 a month. This is not the way to run an establishment to get repeat customers! More
I inquired about a new Hyundai Elantra online on Shelbyville Rd and talked with Tom Heitler for about 5 days. I drove 2 hours only to find out the specific car I asked about had been sold and I did not receive any notifications as to this. I was very disappointed because nothing was done to look at any kind of alternative new cars, I was talked to with such an attitude for asking simple questions, and Tom talked to me like I was non educated and had no idea what I was talking about. I will not recommend this dealer to anyone and I have taken my business elsewhere and have actually now found the car I wanted because that dealer went out of his way to make sure I was happy with the car and price. I purchased a new vehicle there. Got the extended 200,000 mile waranty if I had all service performed there. The first few oil changes went very well. Then the main service person left and it was down-hill from there. When I purchased the car the service was performed on a first come first serve basis. That worked out well for me. They then went to appointment only. When I was able to come in for service they were not able to give me an appointment. I went over for my oil change and that invalidated by 200,000 mile extended warranty. The last appointment I scheduled for an oil change and ask them to look at a brake job they had just done and brakes were squealing,(took morning off/lost $), and they didn't have me down for the appointment. I like the car so far (2 yrs old), but not the dealer/service. I won't go back there. These people also want your last $ for service. More
